Also, pay very close attention to what types of heels you handle better. The heel thickness (even in stilettos it varies), the angle of the arch and if there is a platform of any sort to the bottom of the foot. For whatever reason, I can cross a muddy log in stilettos but a lot of kitten heels drive me bonkers!

That's for sure, kitten heels drive me nuts. It's too low of an angle to engage the muscles necessary to hold my feet up. That puts all my weight on the heel, which is when the wobbles start.

Kinda weird that they were once considered to be training shoes for young girls when they were too young to wear high heels. Although I suppose once you can manage in those damn things... [:'(]

Anything under a 6" heel doesn't work for me, just can't walk in them. Bring on the 7" and I'm a happy camper. lol I grew up in the Disco era, platforms and high heels. The higher the better. [sm=biggrin.gif]

Thanks for the tips ladies :) I hope to actually wear them somewhere someday...lol Ok, keeping barefoot for training purposes.... To train for what? I can only think of obedience. Or punishment if he/she doesn't like going barefoot.

I see the op still hasn't learned to spell since his last incarnation. Yeah, I can see myself going into the woods with the nettles and poison ivy to mark trees for him to cut. Or going into the tile store to pick tiles for the bathroom he's remodeling. My place is with him. If he makes it impossible for me to do what he needs me to do, then he's hoist by his own petard.

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about the injury! I tend to wear a pair of heels every day, ranging from 3-5 inches so I've had plenty of practice. I've unpacked shipments and climbed over shipment crates in mine much to both the amusement and shock of male customers. [:D]

I'm just glad you're able to walk with me in them at my normal walking speed... for a little while there at the beginning I was seriously considering violence against your shoe collection.

meh...shoes.....I only wear them when I go outside, otherwise, I'm barefoot. And I only have 3 or 4 pairs that I wear at any time....well, only 1 pair at a time, but you know what I mean! Mine are all pretty functional, I have one or two with like a 1 or 2 inch heel....any higher, I get a nosebleed from the altitude! I can't imagine a 6" heel.......I'd be terrified to move! I don't have any attachment to shoes, either......all you guys who LIVE for them make me chuckle! [:)] And my place? It's where ever I am at the time......d'oh! I'm female, if I don't know my place, then I'll stop and ask for directions!!!!! [:D]
