Though, seriously, if my joking offended you Lance, I am very sorry. While the chair is hot, I think I'd be confused by the guy. Would I be expected to lace up his pants for example? Does he want me for my ass or just my lacing skills?

It's a serious question damn it...

Lets be clear here, i want you for your ass, I can lace my own chaps, and I got a sexy chair.....

This chair is less sexy than previously indicated... Is there a cushy rug?

DomArtist4u -> RE: What makes a Dom a Dom? (12/14/2010 3:07:08 PM)

Don't forget the capital D. If you screw up and forget that you lose all your Domly Dom status.

The middle one. Plus the silver would look totally hot with steel, chrome and silver on a naked girl. You've got to know how to accessorize!

Aileen1968 -> RE: What makes a Dom a Dom? (12/14/2010 4:44:24 PM)

I had an uncle Dominick. That officially made him a dom.

DesFIP -> RE: What makes a Dom a Dom? (12/14/2010 6:17:44 PM)

I have to agree with Lance, anybody toting their own chair, especially one that looked like that would get thrown out of the bar.

You're dominant if you need to be the leader in your relationship. Doesn't mean you're worth following, doesn't mean you make smart choices, just that you need to be in charge. The worth following, smart choices stuff is how you get someone to follow you.

I have read quite a few and heard quite a few stories about self titled "Masters" and "Dominates" since my return to CM that I am here late night thinking, "What makes a Dom a Dom"? I have my own opinions but I would like to hear from the community in words not links please what you think makes a Dom a Dom. What qualities should that person possess, what kind of temperament, etc... I know there is no cookie cutter formula its just something I was thinking about and well like all good hmmmm thinking about something moments thought I would share the question and see what others have to say.

sofldan,

simply put.......his/her mental attitude.

yeah I figured as much but was in a musing mood last night and quite entertained on where this topic went. I admit to laughing my ass off at some of the pictures.

As to pic above: ROF,LMAO!

Who knew that was Rob Halford?  NOT ME!

Had to google what a "Rob Halford" is or was.  Okay, so he was in Judas Priest and there are some even better shots of him being all Domly-n-such.  LIKE:

DMFParadox -> RE: What makes a Dom a Dom? (12/15/2010 12:25:07 AM)

For me, it's simple sexual preference. Submission turns me on. Dominant women don't. All other things descend from that, in this context.

DomArtist4u -> RE: What makes a Dom a Dom? (12/15/2010 4:48:32 AM)

cmon Lance, I thought Rob Halford was some sort of DemiGod to the leather scene? I mean he DID write the theme song...

here he is in all his Domly Leather-Godlinesshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45EJ1oYAqKw

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't know (or care) who this was.
He's in some heavy metal band so he wears a lot of dark clothes, leather and chains as part of his concert costumes. So what?
