And how come 37% of the respondents to the survey came from the South?

I'm sorry, we need to do a controlled experiment. We need to take 100 morons and put them in a room with Fox News on and nothing else. We need to take another 100 morons and put them in a room with a TV clicker. Will the morons in the room with the clicker change channels actually watch Fox News? Will they watch something else? Will they be able to find the clicker?

Then we need to make sure that the IQ of the morons hasn't changed. Who knows- maybe Fox News makes morons smarter? Maybe the world would be in worse shape because without Fox News, the morons would be getting dumber?

And to be thorough- we need to use geniuses as well. (I'm waiting for Rule to volunteer here.) Does watching Fox News 8 hours a day make genius's dumber? Or does it make them smarter? Or does turning off the damn idiot box make people smarter?

Oh, I don't hate brain, in fact I kinda like the kid. I just don't want him having a say in any laws until he learns to quit believing everything he reads online.

As for Canada, I am not quite ready to move there, but I have given it a lot of thought. My dad was born there and I have heard that I can apply for citizenship without too much trouble. If it just wasn't so damn cold there[8D]

Well, first, I watch FOX frequently and I've said so on here many times.  The comedy is hard to beat.

Second, it's obvious from this comment that you are yet another of the conservative posters commenting on this that either didn't read the original article or didn't follow the links in the original story.  Even worse, I saved you that effort and posted those links with the actual survey and study.

Which sort of proves the point of the OP.

I'm not going to summarize it for you to prove how wrong you are.

Go read them and then come back and talk to me.

What I hate about the liberal school that I have attended (one of the tho not the sole reason for my departure) was that the instructors told us in the class that they should spit on soldiers cause Viet Nam was their fault.    I failed to pass any question in any test, teacher found out I was military at the time.   Just sayin   Another reason was that if you disagreed with the teacher they found a way to fail you.   Even when they asked for your opinion.

It gets confusing because people also call me Rule sometimes instead of RML.

I even had a warning from one of the mods not to hijack threads talking about circumcision.  I tried to explain it wasn't me but I don't think she believed me.  She told me should would have to check.   I never heard back.
