Why would you even type such nonsense, Lucy? I'm damn sure we've touched on free speech before, and I'm consistently clear about where I stand on that. The answer to free speech used badly, is more speech, not censorship.

Of course, I also have a leaning towards laws that fine you $25 for punching a flag burner (or a member of Westboro Baptist), support prosecuting anybody who shouts 'fire' in a crowded theater, and I think there are very good reasons to have classified information. At least with US law, Assange is free to his artwork, commemorating what a miserable shit of human being he is, but I believe he needs to pay a stiff price for using such sensitive, stolen, raw materials.

With 250,000 pages to dig through, I'm hoping he can set off on a world tour of countries that have cruel and unusual punishments for simply repeating something bad that someone else said about king.

General rule of thumb, Lucy. Anybody calling for censorship because they disagree with an opinion, isn't mine. Not unless they are in my crosshairs, and I'm calling the target.

I love how conservatives blame the liberal-dominated public education system for their lack of knowledge when liberals attended the same schools...just sayin'.

What I hate about the liberal school that I have attended (one of the tho not the sole reason for my departure) was that the instructors told us in the class that they should spit on soldiers cause Viet Nam was their fault.    I failed to pass any question in any test, teacher found out I was military at the time.   Just sayin   Another reason was that if you disagreed with the teacher they found a way to fail you.   Even when they asked for your opinion.
