Well, what  can you say?  The actual education level for your average two week old chat room Dom isn't very high.  Can't blame that one on the public schools.  [8D]

I remember when I got AOL (my first experience with chat and stuff) and I had the distinctive impression that the installation disk supplied all men with a magic ruler that said 9" and all women with a magic mirror that said "Top Model"

My response to that line is usually "ahhhhhh ... but a model of WHAT?!" [:'(]

That was good!  [sm=rofl.gif]

I'll tell you a little secret.  I'm afraid it only works on this side of the pond.

One of the best ways to really see if a guy 'measures up' is to get a comparison shot with a dollar bill.  For US currency, the dollar bill is exactly six inches in length.  If it can't be done, they guy either wasn't endowed or he's just that damn broke.

LOL, but I guess you are getting just as many (if not more) dick shots in your mail as I get, now me having lived most of my life in that depraved place called Europe where you got clothing optional beaches and mixed saunas, for a while having spent at least 3 days of the month in commercial dungeons, seeing an erect penis is nothing that would shock me, surprise me, and heaven forbid, it's not turning me into a sex crazed monster that will utter "must have, must have" - I guess I'm terribly conservative, but a cock is only as attractive as the guy that's attached to it and as for "supersize it" - sorry, I'm not a size queen, if I want stitches I rather give birth...

Hillarious, that really cracked me up hearing it put quite like that, informative, yet also kind of obvious too. This was really funny, it kind of made my day to know that I'm not the only one who sometimes posts on the obvious but often never talked about facts.[:D]

At the time I was traveling A LOT and met many of the gals, unfortunately most of them were models for eaters anonymous or possibly "time travelers"...

In all fairness, I corresponded with a lot of pro dommes for a while, due to a visit to a certain Czech place and a love for whips I had a bit of notoriety, plus I liked electrics and needles and other fun things, a few asked for pointers and I always thought sharing knowledge was a great thing, so they gave a party for me and several dommes came up to me and introduced themselves, I must have looked a bit baffled, some went "Haven't you seen my website" and I was "Yes but you didn't... errr I mean no, I didn't have a chance, errrr... Nice to meet you..."

redbottomgirl, I often think life would have been so much easier as a guy, but then I listen in to guys talking and I just think "It's really not that bad being a woman, I take the monthly cramps and all that, alright my boobs might be a bit big so I work out more and wear better bras, at least I don't have to do the binge drinking, pretending I'm hard, etc."

Not that you'd stereotype people, of course.

Maybe my life is quite sheltered but I don't know any women who go binge drinking, think they have to pretend they are untouchable and oh so hard, worry about hair loss...

Seriously, most guys couldn't cope with cramps once a month, just imagine if guys would have periods, do you think it would be the discrete "This peace of cotton wool has done so much for the liberation of women..." without ever mentioning excruciating pains and all that... No, it would be a butch guy in leathers getting off a macho bike, staring into the cam with the macho scowl going "Once a man bleeds, a real man bleeds, therefore use TAMPAX - real men do!"

You managed to completely miss the point of my post. Only you could say whether it was deliberate or not.

Hint: not all men are binge-drinking, macho morons. In fact, I don't know anyone who is. But then I'm fairly selective about those I associate with.

I never said all men are binge drinking macho morons but for some odd reason more guys seem to indulge in that, and for some odd reason no women has ever greeted me with "Hello pretty lady" when I walked into a place, it doesn't mean I associate with those people, I am simply aware of them and see what is happening, without pretending the world is perfect, those things don't happen and the NHS is the next best thing to sliced bread.

ETA and thank heavens you don't ever stereotype about Wales... Not that I lived there but I did, I found the people very friendly and helpful, you did not, I leave it to you to draw conclusions...

RedBottomGirl26 -> RE: Just curious about Freedom Of Speech On this site (12/18/2010 1:47:40 PM)

[:D] Lady, your interesting forray into the world of advertising would be a most interesting venture I gather. Your commericals would be most different.
I think you are right, sometimes it seems like it would be easier to be a man, yet...I also agree, at times being a woman isn't so bad. I found your little joke about pretending to be hard, to be highly amusing, yet sadly, it is a real problem for many men, so at least as women, we don't really have to worry too much about our organs not working right, with the exception of a few things (cancer or mood being about the only things we have to watch out for). I do find your sense of humor refreshing, and it actually takes quite a bit of effort from some people to keep me jolly, though there are just some people you "get" more than others. Hope you see that as a big compliment. I'm envious that you went to a pro-domme party (I for sure would have felt a little out of place, seeing as I'm usually the one stuck in the corner half the time haha, usually by choice rather than punishment hehe).

Presumably in the spirit of gender equality, the gap is narrowing. [:D]

Binge drinking among women has almost doubled since 1998, in a rapid narrowing of an alcohol gender gap that persisted for generations, research today from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation shows. ~Guardian

British teenagers are among the worst binge drinkers in Europe, with girls more likely to get drunk than boys, claim researchers. ~MailOnline

There are all sorts of conclusions one can draw from that statement, yes.

But I don't think I'll bother enumerating them.
