And it is still reasonable to find one that live really far away?

If I search for example in my country, I find mostly whores (literally, no offense here) or already taken people. Not only on this site, but almost anyone that I tried, even vanilla ones.

Also the scene here is rather limited, the amount of sub females (what I seek) is really small (most of the women here are actually Dommes, or WAAAAAAY older than me, like the difference between our ages being the double of my own age...) so I am searching on internet, but I am doubting it is feasible at all. (feasible is different from possible, I know it is possible...)

Serious answer: It's pretty difficult for men and women online, no matter the context, to form a relationship. I have a few brazilian friends that do ok, but they've invested a lot of time and effort into their online presence. Plenty are doing it, but if you want faster and more assured results your best bet is to go out and just meet people.

Status: offline 		Sounds like an opportunity, actually. Find someone in the place you plan to move to. If nothing else, the search will grant you a little familiarity and understanding of your new home.

Make sense? Yes, absolutely. Many people do exactly that.

Why not do both? If you know where you're moving to, you can use the internet to search for possible partners in that area, and get to know them by e-mail. I read your profile, and you seem like a very sincere, interesting, and communicative man. I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting to know people that way; and you seem like the type who will be honest about your intentions, so it seems likely that any friendships you form that way will be quite positive and constructive. Make some friends that way, and then take a trip to where they live and meet them in person.

Good luck. Where are you planning to move, anyway? Maybe we could arrange some sort of trade. The United States can trade me to Brazil for you. Do you like snow?

Status: offline 		Heh, you sure you want to come here? I am leaving Brazil because I got nearly killed too much and I don't want to die young... (I lived in several locations, and in several of them I had bullets waking me up at night, or one time just flat out a city-wide terrorist attack with several arsonists, bombers and heavy weapon shooting against buildings and any people that worked for government).

But I wonder if I like snow, I never saw snow before :P (I was thinking about going to Canada, heard that there snow is something that will be hard to avoid)

I've met another as well, who will be with us soon, and we won't have to worry about those silly governmental lines in the dirt. I couldn't ask for two more wonderful people to know in my life either.

And snow itself isn't that bad, although it takes a while to get used to driving in it.  If you're not used to snow and cold, then Canada would be a shock to your system.  There's a huge difference between somewhere where the temps drop down to 20 degrees F at night in December with a dusting of snow, and somewhere where is stays below 20 F for a month or two and can drop well below 0 F, with come serious snowstorms.

But if you want to continue to look in a place that has no active scene, just date vanilla women, and see if they're amenable to light topping at first.

Status: offline 		I don't know how reasonable it is.  It isn't impossible, but it isn't highly likely, either.  It's My understanding that the percentage of long term dynamics/relationships is relatively small.  It happens, but not nearly as often as folks would hope.  In My personal opinion, the internet is just a tool and depending on if you use the tool in the right way is going to have a lot to do with your success.

I'd definitely say it would be a good idea to look in whatever location that you decide will be your new home.  It will give you a jump start to meeting people for when you actually get there.

Status: offline 		I met me ex on aol. We were together for 3 years and 10 years later are still good friends. That said, I think I was just really lucky. I had only been talking to her for about a week and one night she was hungry and I offered to buy her dinner. When I decide I am ready to look again, I will probably go to local parties, but will definitely keep my eyes open on here. While I have proved to my self that it is not impossible to find people online, I think it is a lot harder than doing it face to face.

I don't look for anyone who isn't local. I know that cuts down the playing field, but I have no intention of moving from the area so I don't see the point.

A very close friend of mine told me the best way to meet people in the lifestyle is to go to events and parties and volunteer to help. And she was so right. In fact that is how she met her partner and how I got to be part of a really awesome leather family. What more could a boi want

Status: offline 		i met my master in secondlife were now living together i moved countries to be with him. it can happen juust meetin the right person is the issue. i was ;lucky to meet the one so to speak but many get hurt and a few llike me it works out for
