And this is why OP you are getting red flags... you are on a different page to him. He is no longer chatting, he is asking for control.

I personally see nothing wrong with giving out details to someone I was starting a relationship with and i would use my instincts to tell me when that time was right. If pressed too soon I would ask for further reassurances, perhaps his details first, etc. But I would draw the line at pictures of that nature at that stage.

However, it seems to me the bigger question is what are you waiting for, or what is holding you back from giving trust and control... consider those questions and remember to be honest with yourself, weigh up the pros and cons, and then shit or get off the pot.

As for blackmailing you, I raised my children with the motto... if you can't be honest about something you are going to do, you shouldn't do it. Furthermore do you really think anyone else cares about your kink? We all have expectations of privacy to some degree, but we also know that our actions can be costly... weight them up and see can find out your balance of the two, etc.

I personally would not, my personal info is just that, personal. Until i am with a dom that I trust enough to submit to. When I find him by the time I submit he will have all that information anyway. As for the pics, yep I have, but only to one person and that person I would trust with everything I have so I know those are in good hands, :).

If your warning bells are going off, then listen to them! I could see if you were in a close relationship with this man then there wouldn't be much of a problem with him having this info. But him living across country? That's a bit strange.

He can tell you all he wants that he means no malicious intent, but that doesn't make it true. I mean honestly do you really think he's going to say "Give me your ID stats so I can stalk you and send you dead snakes in the mail!"
