In portraying her a gold digger, you are portraying him a victim. If he is volunteering, he is not a victim. His want for a pretty young blonde thing is no less noble than her desiring the kind of financial security his wealth will offer her. If that is all there is between them then both sides are seeking something shallow...and both sides seem as though they will be happily met. However, when I had that love affair at age 37, it was for love and not money. edit typo

a bit I didnt add, Aynne.. Hef is no idiot.. he created and has run a publishing empire since teh 50s. Yes, he has people to help him, but it was HIS brainchild.. and to SOME folks.. the drive and brains behind that are more appealing than his looks! But yeah.. he's holding up really well, looks-wise. Not MY type, but objectively, I get it...

You know the notion of marriages based on love is a fairly recent one, it was usually a dynastic approach or an economic one.
