A Longevity Question.

As the end of one year comes around, and another begins, I was serendipitously reading some of my old posts, noticing who was gone, and who was still around.

It came to me that at one time, I was a "newbie" on the forums, and was very hesitant to post much, but my very first post was on 9/24/2004 at 12:11:58 AM, in the "Ask a Submissive" forum.

This clocks me in as a 6 year, 3 month + "vet" of the forums.

What are your stats, and can you find your first post?

Happy New Year, all.

Firm

Took me a little while with the horrid search function here in the forums...

It was about wannabes, phonies, hngs, etc. on 4/22/2006 12:20:58 AM.  Figures.

That puts me at around 4 years 8 months, although I have changed my name since then.

Unoriginally enough, my first post was in the Introduce Yourself section.

Of course, from there, things proceeded to get weird. BBQ, anyone?

ETA: That puts me at three years, ten months, and fifteen days here on CM. Wow...

First post was in the "Introduce Yourself" forum on March 2, 2007. So, I'm about three months short of being here 4 years. I had a profile under a different name "on the other side" before I met Master but had never posted in the forums under that name......luci

My first message board post was on alt.sex.femdom in 1995.  You can find some pretty old and interesting threads by going to deja.com and searching the usenet forums.  My address was [email protected] back then.  Still posting a lot of the same themes/musings today.

Akasha,

Good enough.  I have been posting elsewhere, before I got to CM, but I'm specifically interested in longevity on the CollarMe forums.

By the date on your "joined", I suspect you've been around here for a while, as well.

I posted in the Introduce Yourself forum in Feb, 2006, under my previous name of ownedgirlie.  My oh my have things changed for me since then.

So that makes me a member here just shy of 5 years.

I only remembered my first post, because my third post was, "I concede your point." ...UGH! Not my favorite phrase really. Although! It MIGHT have been the very first time those words were ever uttered on this sight ....muahahahaha

I'll be coming up on 6 yrs. I started posting here in May of 06 under "marieToo".

I couldn't locate my first post but I do remember it. I was clueless about the boards, so I just started searching the forums, clicked on one of them, and scrolled down till something caught my eye. I went and read through the thread and posted a comment without realizing that the thread was old. So I got torn a new one: "oh for fuck's sake, someone resurrected this old thread" etc etc. lmaoo....Whatever.

I remember my second and third posts too, in a couple of very heated arguments....but we're not going there.

ETA: My math sucks. I guess it would be almost 5 yrs, not 6.

5-1/2 years here, but I can't find or remember my first post. I do remember feeling really shy and intimidated when I first came in here, lol. My archives only go back to May of this year.

I opened up an account here in January of '05 under a nic that has since been retired. I started posting in the forums in Feb. or March, and the earliest post I could find was from April.

My first post under this nic was right close to the "joined" date over there. The first post was to formalize the change.

I joined c.com on 3/5/06 but I have no idea when my first post was since it only allows me to go back 300 posts which only takes me back to 2010. I have no idea how to get my first post.

I feel like I've been here forever!! <cringe>

Maybe. I haven't tried. Even if I could, I really wouldn't care to. I remember the SOB I was back then.

Around 2003-4 I had a profile here under another name and then I deleted that profile and came back with this nick around 2008 when I wanted to taste my switch side.
I just tried to look at my previous posts under my other name but only 3 posts came up so they must eventually get deleted.
