Great thread Firm! I've really enjoyed reading everyone's first post.
I have yet to earn the status of long term poster, but wanted to thank Marc
for his helpful hint in finding my first post. Thank you Marc!
Happy New Year!

No! There's something terribly wrong. I would call your doctor immediately, if I were you.

A Longevity Question.

As the end of one year comes around, and another begins, I was serendipitously reading some of my old posts, noticing who was gone, and who was still around.

It came to me that at one time, I was a "newbie" on the forums, and was very hesitant to post much, but my very first post was on 9/24/2004 at 12:11:58 AM, in the "Ask a Submissive" forum.

This clocks me in as a 6 year, 3 month + "vet" of the forums.

What are your stats, and can you find your first post?

Happy New Year, all.

Firm

I joined back on 6/2/2004 The earliest I can find is as dark~angel on the Intro forums and that is dated 7/16/2004 10:54:06 .  But I say that I had been posting on the forums before that intro thread in the post.  That makes me 6years and 5 months and a few days?  Good grief ...   I think stef or LaM are longer though...
Master Malice was here!  Gosh I miss him....

Master checked and his is (as Darcy) 4/13/2007 11:06:27 AM 3 Years and 8 months?

I joined c.com on 3/5/06 but I have no idea when my first post was since it only allows me to go back 300 posts which only takes me back to 2010. I have no idea how to get my first post.

I feel like I've been here forever!! <cringe>

Your collarme "join" date is about a year earlier (Joined: 6/26/2005) than your above 3/5/06 date.  Did you not post in the forums for 8 months after you joined CollarMe?

how do you find your first post?
for you...look up the origin of "snort"?

The earliest "GreedyTop snort" that I could find was 2/12/2008 12:01:02 PM in the OTF.

I had tentatively IDed stef as the "Queen of the Forums" as the longest continuous poster, but since she hasn't checked in yet, it's looking like you may win the crown by default ...

All my first posts were under the name Outlier
That log in no longer works on the boards.

I think the first thread I ever started was the "Crazy Bastards" thread.

It says in the text it was one of my first 10 posts.

I still enjoy that quote from Gordon Jennings.

With nearly three thousand posts you are a senior poster. (And I liked your derailing. )

:D

I'm here to stay for a while. FUN FOR YOU PEOPLE!!!

But seriously I joined CM a while back but did not actually start posting until a few years later.

And it is quite easy to find your first post if you go to the search function and type in your name in the find author text box.

Hmm...

I would like to believe my first post was in the Introduce Yourself when I was nineteen (about to be twenty four) and owned at the time.... 12/14/2006 6:01:31 PM

so young and so blind.

then a second introduction years later and that is when I really started posting.

So I guess I have been here for four years approximately.

I cannot get to before 2010 nor more than 300 posts.

I must have started posting in December 2005, I expect.

I joined the site on 8/2/06, but I don't think I became active in the fora till several months later.

No idea what my first post was, alas.

ETA: I did find my favorite post, though.

Looking thought the thread it looks like I got all but six or seven respondants beat. Red comes the closest, six days before my arrival. (perhaps someone tipped her off to the upcoming event). Of course I was threatened with total throwing out a couple times, but after I thought "ummmm, do I want to do this or not ? " things have settled down. The answer is obvious.

Much to the dismay of some. Very few I hope.

However, I suspect it was not my first.

Indeed, I remembered that one of my early posts concerned my avatar, which I still use.

I found it here on 24 April 2006: http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=342651

There must have been earlier posts, though, otherwise I would not have gotten said complaint.
