I found one from April 2006, in a twue vs true thread.  Not sure if that is my first, but likely so.

how do you find your first post?

If you know it, go to the topic (e.g. "Introduce Youself") that you made your first post on. On the (your) right side of the screen, next to the word FILTER, there is a drop box. Select "Show threads I contributed to." That should narrow your search down. [:)]

oh lord.. I have no idea which thread I first posted to..

hell, half the time, I dont even remember what that LAST one I posted to is!! *snort*

LadyPact -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:30:49 AM)

Same here, GT.

I do know that I went back and made an "introduction" on March 16, 2007, but that wasn't My first post.  I was joking with someone a while back that it surprised Me that I missed the famous "tap, tap, tap" thread  because I was here, but didn't participate.

Close enough for government work, though.  That puts Me at three years, nine months, and fourteen days.

(That's the best anyone's getting until I ingest more caffeine.)

GreedyTop -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:33:14 AM)

I cant see my joined date.. is that normal?  if I knew what it was I could use that as a parameter...

and I missed the tap tap thread too, until someone linked it..

(isnt it about time to re-post it? maybe we should make that a NYE tradition... )

same here...I think (but would not put my hand into a fire for that one) that my first posts might have been at the holly thread...either that or one of my first ones...and that was approx. 2.5 years ago I would guess, as I was on here for about 6 months or so before I posted...

Marc2b -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:38:32 AM)

I've been here since August 7th, 2006, so let's see thats... uhm... four years, four months, and three and a half weeks. Damn.

My very first post.

The major change between now and then is that I have since found me a gal pal who is into scrubing kitchen floors while wearing only a collar, dancing naked by the firelight and doing it doggie style by the same firelight (she says she doesn't like being whipped yet somehow always manages to do something disobedient [;)]). Oh Yeah! [sm=dancer.gif]

LOL Marc!

Daddysredhead -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:41:22 AM)

I just found mine. I didn't do an introduction, just read the forums for two and a half months or so, then posted in Ask A Master's section. I re-read the whole thing and remember quite vividly reading the replies the first go round, almost 5 years ago. I thought a couple people there were complete jackholes for their replies and I have never been able to shake that opinion of them ever since. This is why I try to be kind to new posters who ask a legitimate question, but haven't learned how to give all the details needed to reply properly.

January 25, 2006... my first post. http://www.collarchat.com/m_252378/mpage_1/tm.htm

NuevaVida -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:55:59 AM)

Now I'm curious - what's the tap tap tap thread?  Did I miss that one, too?

Prinsexx -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:56:10 AM)

I joined on 08/27/07
and posted that day I believe.
That puts me at  3 years 4 months and 3 days I think????

mbes -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 8:57:00 AM)

I searched my name, and came up with 300 posts, when it says I have 400+. So I don't know which ones are missing.
But the earliest on the list was 1/26/08, a little short of 3 years.
I had no idea...
Oops, I see my joined date is 2006. So yeah, I've been at least reading for a while now...

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 9:10:38 AM)

I did a search and it looks like my very first post was on 3/25/2006 in the "Ask a Mistress" forum:  http://www.collarchat.com/m_302354/mpage_2/tm.htm

That puts me at 4 years, 9 months, and 6 days.  In some ways, hard to believe, in other ways, it seems longer than that!

NuevaVida -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 10:06:42 AM)

OMG yeah I remember that one.  I don't think I posted to it, though, but...wow LOL

Thanks for the link and refresher, DRH and Greedy!

LadyPact -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 10:10:50 AM)

I think it was brought back for a special occasion (Ron's birthday).

Didn't that thing start on the poly board?  Might be why some folks missed it at first, though I'm still surprised it got by Me at the time.

chiaThePet -> RE: Long-term Forum Posters - A Longevity Question. (12/31/2010 10:21:28 AM)

Gee, it's been so long. My first post was right after the crucifixion in Brawlitics and Collision
in a thread entitled "Raised From the Dead or Just Raising Hell".

It came after a tumultuous day in Goldsteins Cemetery right outside the Garden of Gethsemane.
A small gathering of rambunctious ravers, myself included, under the coercion of our friend Ashton
were punking the local mourners. Ashton distracted those gathered at a specific tomb with antics
aboard a Caterpillar D11T Bulldozer, proclaiming that the cemetery had been built on a historic
site previously known as Flinstone's Flagstone/Designs by Wilma, and all those lying about had
to be relocated.

During the melee' that followed, we discovered new found friend "J" trapped behind a rather large
rounded boulder which we relocated, coining the now infamous phrase "Rock-n-Roll". We were
thoroughly entertained by "J"s rather extensive portfolio of magic tricks for most of the afternoon,
but had to break up the party when some fierce storm clouds moved in.

I've been hanging with "J" and my old buds for what seems like an eternity now, though Cleopatra
and the kids demand so much more of my time these days. "Change the oil in the Barge chia*",
"Pick me up some eyeliner from the drugstore chia*" "The kids need new sandals chia*".

God help me.

chia* (the pet)
