  Christ.

Threads like this remind me why I find people annoying.  The stupidity exhibited is appalling.

The dude is a pimp.  Pure and simple.  The women are idiots who are stupid enough to engage in prostitution without being paid.  The monopoly money is something he sells to the "clients".

Basically, he's a middleman.  Middlemen exist to do one thing.  Bring buyer and seller together and in doing so profit.  Except in this instance, the women are stupid enough to give it away for free.

The face that he hides the presence of filthy lucre from the women concerned merely makes him a cheap pimp, but make no mistake - a pimp he is.

That you idiots are gullible enough to swallow this nonsense is testament to your inability to reason.

At Awareness ...

Until now I have been patient and have explained how the system works.  The people who have commented have been intelligent and witty. At no time have I responded in any harsh manner at all.

Until now.

First, I am not Christ.  So please get the right name of the person you are about to address.  Unless of course you were starting some kind of prayer? In which case I am happy to wait until I see an 'amen' before responding.  No 'amen'?  Oh I get it, you were using some kind of epithet!  Like, if I called you 'goose'.

You called me a pimp.  Well duh, it's in the first line of the first page in this discussion.  But thanks for letting us all know that you were able to work this out.  And the women do NOT engage in prostitution, that is a crime in this state.  It is a fantasy, also mentioned on page one.

Please try to read these posts with a little bit of comprehension.  The monopoly money is NOT sold to the clients, it is sold to the women.  I buy the stuff for $8 and sell it to them for $1. (Big profit, eh?) They then give it to the clients through me, AT NO COST to the clients, who then give it back to her for her fantasies.

The women are NOT stupid enough to give it away for free, they are engaging in a fantasy, similar to what your subs do -- women who trance during conversation.  Oh no, that's right.  Our women are sober when talking with us, unlike YOUR women (per your profile).

And speaking of profiles, I notice that you are in New Zealand -- where men are men and sheep are nervous.  Your women sound like sheep to me.  But you are entitled to your own kinks.  I just wonder why you don't allow sensible sane women to indulge their own.  And then I looked at your profile again.  You do not participate in "D/s theatre".  According to you anyone who does should move on.  So why are you here?  Is it to enlighten us?  Is it to preach on behalf of some religious icon?  Or is it because you cannot understand that the universe encompasses more than what resides in your own meager soul?

So, Awareness, show some.  You have accused me and many decent women of criminal behaviour. It is a fantasy, open your mind.

I have not told even one person to leave this thread, and I don't tell you either.  Instead, I recommend a course in literary comprehension, I suggest further studies in tolerance, patience, and understanding.

And above all, I wish your women the best of luck, how can they consent when in a trance?

Goose.

Now back to reasonable discussion with reasonable people.

As a small (and politely worded) point of order, Mr Speaker, you can't. It's a public forum, ergo people can say WTF they want to, within the confines of the Terms.

Not saying you were wrong to pitch one, coz you've every right to defend yourself and your viewpoint, but just wanted to point that out in case you thought that the person who starts a thread "owns" it, in either a literal sense, or by some sort of convention.

It's over a decade since I spend some some time in Australia as a student, but I was under the impression that prostitution is legal and in some states regulated and even brothels are legal, in others brothels are illegal, prostitution is not regulated but also not illegal (a bit similar to the UK).

I know the women who engage in it for Monopoly money aren't prostitutes and it is a fantasy, etc. but I'm wondering if I had the legalities about Australia wrong?

It's possible. We had a guy a month or so (I think) who had created an account to tell us how damaged we all were and that we needed to stop hurting ourselves by doing what we do.

That or he is one of the folks who gets their panties in a twist around words like 'play' and 'scene' because it's not a scene, it's real damn it. Which could explain his hostile reaction for your proposed scene/arranged playtime.

agirl -> RE: Monopoly Hookers (1/7/2011 10:54:21 AM)

Gosh , my inability to reason made me blind to the fact that the OP stated quite clearly that he is the middleman.. for a *wished for* fantasy.

If you read thoroughly you'll see that the women are being given what they WANT ......the fulfillment of a fantasy that they WISH to be played out.

It's the fantasy of being a hooker, not to BE a hooker. All involved come out smiling.......(well, in theory, one would suppose)

No-one is being taken advantage of ( in the described scenario) it's an *we are ALL getting something advantageous) situation, with or without *filthy lucre*(which would be the LEAST of my interest if I was taking part).

At RapierFugue .....

Of course you are right.  I just hoped the sheep-botherer was too dumb to notice. lol And as for 'ownership' you are also right.  Is this going to be a habit?

At LadyConstanze .....

Our laws differ state by state.  It is said that biker gangs run it in one state, while the police do in another.  All we DO know is that the industry is flourishing, which implies it is NOT run by the government.  In South Australia the main activist organisation is the Sex Industry Network (SIN) which is funded by the Aids Council. Google the SA Sex Industry Network if interested.

While prostitution itself is legal in some states, there are still difficulties in South Australia.  Using premises in certain areas can be against council regulations as well as state law. Living off the earnings can be illegal (thus my financial loss in providing monopoly money to the women).  The 'rule' for sex workers is to assume what you are doing is illegal so you take proper precautions.

And at agirl .....

Thanks for 'getting it'.

Awareness -> RE: Monopoly Hookers (1/8/2011 12:28:44 AM)

Not only a pimp, but weak also.  Par for the course, really.

For those who queried, prostitution has not only been legal for some time, although the laws vary from state to state.  In Victoria, from what I remember, sex workers enjoy full legal protection and entitlement to health benefits under the law.  A brothel is run like any other business and may even have to pay into the superannuation plan for the employees.

The exception, of course, is South Australia, the state in which this pimp resides.  Technically prostitution is not illegal but the procuring, solicitation and receiving of money is.  At the very least, a strong argument could be made that he's actively procuring women for men - how the law would see it is very much open to debate.

Any time I see a middleman, profit is involved.  The profit may be goods, services or favours.   The rich and powerful frequently like to trade in human flesh.  In one way or another I strongly suspect this is exactly what is happening here.  Dressing it up as a fantasy doesn't change the reality.

Interestingly enough, I do wonder what you're doing here.  You clearly have no idea what subspace is, so you're not here as a Dominant.  I suspect you think submissive women make excellent victims and are here with the intention of procuring some for your "friends".

As for my profile - lad, I'm afraid you haven't the wit to understand it.  Nice try though.

What I found was:

In Australia, prostitution laws vary from state to state. ‘Street work’, which involves soliciting whilst walking along a street or waiting at a street corner, is illegal in all states except New South Wales. Brothels are legal, providing the owner has a permit from local government, in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania and one-woman brothels are permitted in the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland and Western Australia. However, receiving money for prostitution in a brothel is prohibited in South Australia and allowing premises to be used as a brothel is an offence in the Northern Territory. On the other hand, procuring the services of a prostitute is illegal in all states except Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory, which only prohibit clients of underage prostitutes.

But since there would be no payment and no value exchanged, I doubt very much that he could be accused of procuring, especially since the women come out of their own free will (even pay for their own trip), without receiving payment, he is not receiving payment, to fulfill the charge of prostitution there. As far as I know prostitution is defined as exchanging sexual favours for money, so being the girlfriend of a sugar daddy is technically not prostitution. To have sex with a lot of guys without getting paid is also not prostitution. This would be more like a private sex party, with the exception that the guys aren't there all at once, throw in a bit of role play with the monopoly money, provided the woman doesn't change her mind and claims she was tricked or raped, I can't see a legal angle.

In case you use the argument with a middle man, then every munch, every BDSM party, every swinger club would be guilty of that, because the organizers could be counted as middle men.

What he gets out of it? Well the situation turns him on (I assume) and possibly he likes having sex with a woman who had sex with a bunch of guys before (as he hinted at in one of his replies). As long as it is all consensual, no harm done and whatever floats your boat. If it is all about subspace then you really cut a bunch of people out of BDSM, because not everybody is a sub, how about masochists, fetishists, cross dressers, bondage enthusiasts etc. - it's not just D/s here. We got all sorts of people here and not everybody is on the same page, we're all a bit on the fringe of what is deemed "normal" but we're all following the creed that it has to be consensual, so what's the big deal if somebody wants a consensual fantasy that doesn't float your boat? It also doesn't float my boat, but then I am not offering my house for such a party or would want to be the "entertainment"... Personally I wouldn't even have a problem if he and the lady in question would earn money from such an arrangement, after all they're putting quite a bit of work into it, but that would then be a legal issue...

From a rational point of view if I was a woman who'd be attracted to such a fantasy, I would possibly rather go to Sidney (where I believe prostitution and brothels are legal) and go and work in a brothel there and take the money home as well as having my fantasy fulfilled.

Stroppy. Though I have no idea what the word means in your context, so it could describe anyone afaik.

Ok so fuck his noise. I repeat again for those who missed it: neat idea OP, two additions: 1) vet private, not public like this, 'cause as you can see this is a doubtful means of generating interest, and aim for a feeling of exclusivity, jet setting, etc.; because this is the kind of thing popularly conceived of as what bored rich people do. 2)get the guys roleplaying too, as bored rich people; rock stars, captains of industry, have a background for each 'john' and make the whole thing a masquerade ball. Of balling. Better described this concept in my earlier post, the one buried a couple pages back.

Stroppy: likely to have a strop, or in the process of having a strop ... i.e., likely to pitch a fit (not the sharpening a blade kind of "strop").

Or “Mardy”, if you're from some parts of the north of England.

I'm in no place to judge what you do and it's personally not something I'm into, but it's not as if you're hurting anybody, children, animals, etc. Best of luck, safety and cleanliness first!

I have been thinking  about your comments and I now have an idea to take this thing onto the international arena.  Thought of starting it in California, so don't worry - Florida is still safe for a while! :)

Question is, do I add it here or start a new thread?  The title would be "SEX TOURS DOWN UNDER".  Oh what the heck, I will start a new thread once I get up enough nerve to face the people who WILL be upset by the menace of the Australian mentality.

And to all those people who are asking "Is he serious?", yes folks, I am.
