Like you I find this hilarious. It is surprisingly common. I have never actually contacted any of these people.

I think they fall into two types:

1. People that are masochists, not submissive.

2. People that need a lesson in social skills. They should try something along the lines of "I am such a bad slave, I need to be punished. For example, I immediately delete and block all nude pictures sent to me, so I should be punished for rudeness. "

The unreasonable expectation and general disgruntlement with the process is pretty a given for many on the website. (Including me - why haven't I found ms. perfect-for-me yet????). It applies to so many people that I don't think it is worth being used to describe any individual.

i recently added to my profile that sending me mail messages making the picture i posted of my cat who just died last week after being attacked by a dog into a double entendre is Not Cool.

i showed my profile to my Master, who thought it was very well put and appropriate to the situation that caused my posting what i did to my profile. i didn't say so in my profile.

So, does my profile make me any less of a submissive???

We all have reasons for what we put in our profiles. Don't be so quick to judge a person by what they put into their profile. They may have Very Valid reasons to say what they say there and unless you know that person and the reasons for what they say there, you really have no right to judge them as being any more or any less of what they say they are.

Edited to add i used Fast Reply, and this was a reply to the OP not to anybody the software says it's in reply to...lol

We don't always reveal ourselves in articulate ways. Sometimes when you give people a little leeway, they surprise you pleasantly.

Well, the fact that someone's a submissive doesn't mean he's going to take everything thrown at him. Especially when one's looking for something, it is necessary to be honest and inflexible.

That's so very true and besides, demands can be made without being overboard. I'm adding my two cents here and my personal opinion. I hate guys that are my age * smirk*
