Yes Ron, that is what my great grand-father did back in the day.
He was multiple species medical practicioner, a doctor and a vet.
He removed the scent glands from a skunk and kept it as a pet,
also had a pet raven.

I think it would be amusing to have a few skunks inside a cyclone fenced yard
as guard animals.  Robbery and theft potential would go way down, since the
thieves would have no way of knowing that the scent glands were removed.
You could also innoculate them against rabies, same as canines and felines.

And FYI, there are folks in the Furry Lifestyle whose animal selves are skunks.[:D]

Regards,

Iam thinkin firecrackers and a gas mask... Wait is the bad advice thread?

If you put a light under the house, make sure its in a globe or something, so the skunk wont curl up to it for warmth on a chilly night...

LAM - is there a wildlife rescue person near you?  They may be able to help you.  Beyond that I don't know what to tell you, I'd be freaking though.

Just for laffs, he might not even have a skunk under there, he is just smelling gill-o'er-the-ground, or ground ivy.  It is just that his peach was sick so he had to do the mowing.............

LOL,
Ron (just teasing)
