She's required under Alaska state law to release the records within ten days.  She's pulling one delaying tactic after another, and her latest request for delay, if granted, will push the time for compliance to 986 days.

or maybe just some personal dirty laundry that makes the whole "kid had an illegitimate child/husband was for separating from the union/ overly talkative son-in-law/journalism major couldn't name a newspaper, or a supreme court case" stuff look good

That article is over two and a half years old.  It's a safe bet that the Bush emails will never see the light of day at this point.

Depending on what jokes were getting forwarded, Pyro, that could be plenty juicy. Did you get the Barack Obama Christmas ornament ad?

I also wonder if fishing expeditions through thousands of old emails is the standard we want to set for political candidates.
