Oh no. I am contributing to the delinquincy of minors!!! I taught my grandsons the wonder that is dark chocolate. The eldest is especially fond of the Doves Darks I keep in the cookie jar.

It might be ok- if it was under an ounce.

Oh!  It is YOU that is to blame!

Or maybe it is putting that "grand" in the name.  Phil keeps doing the same with Butterhead.  (he is her honorary 'grandpa'.)  Do you have any idea of the hell that is gone through when some company (Ghiradelli) stops selling the 'blue' chocolates? (These are the milk chocolates by the way) Do YOU?

Because if all of the 'blue' chocolates are gone that MUST mean that the others are fair game!

I blame you.  At least I have some one to blame.  Much good will it do me.

Chocolate has no significant redeeming nutritional value.

T

Dark chocolate does not contain that much sugar.
Look at the label of a good quality dark chocolate, one serving will have around 11-15 grams of carbs... then look at the fiber. A decent bar will have around 4 grams per serving. Subtract that and you will have between 11 and 7 grams of sugar per serving. Some dark chocolates may have even less.

that is actually true, some years ago someone explained to me (dont remember on tv or in person, I think it was on a tv programme) that dark chocolate has less sugar as there is sort of less space left to put sugar in it due to the higher amount of kakao being in it...something like that it was...and it made a very visual sense but because of that also doesn't taste that great

Anyhow when I worked with adults with learning disabilities it taught me the importance to go for very high percentage of kakao in chocolate when baking cake for guys birthday who had diabetes as it was easier for them to enjoy that than as it would have been with other chocolate...

Chocolate is good, especially in pudding.

carob on the other hand should be outlawed.  I took a bite of it (85%) and I was not a happy camper.

Yes and I think that companies should also be able to use the term, "White Chocolate" as opposed to "Almond Bark" here in the US.

Huh? I see things as labeled "white chocolate".
