omkfY, as to why are many ladies here helpful? For myself, it's because I still remember being a newbie. Yes, I got a couple of undesired spankings and tramplings; but once one survives those, and learns who to read, mixed with a dose of common sense, one finds there is no ending to the information one can acquire here. M

I have a different take on this LP (sorry to wander off-topic OP).

It seems you're suggesting that this place should be only for what one might call serious long term partnership opportunities. But quick kinky thrills can be fun and can lead onward.

You'll have seen so many ppl posting along the lines of "how can I meet the one true love of my life". And to achieve that aim is wonderful and there are plenty of couples with secure long term relationships here who met through CM. So I'm not in any way denigrating that (although I dislike profiles which set out a series of specific detailed requirements - dislike simply because I think such a philosophy (requirements not aspirations) is stupid).

But I have a different take, cynical bugger that I am. I'm happier to seek lightweight relationships here - "lightweight" not in the sense of superficial, rather in the sense that one is not expecting lifelong comitment at outset; simply (one hopes) satisfying contact which turns (one hopes) to friendship. If then such a friendship were to become closer and turn to love, well sheesh - what a result - but the cynic in me says that's pretty unlikely. Whereas making new friends is far more likely.

So I suppose I'm basically an HNG, albeit with the best of intentions, and my argument with you - I think - is to feel that for people to seek to find their quick kinky thrills is not necessarily an unworthy aim.

And just for the purpose of staying on topic, if it weren't for the Ladies, and some of the guys treating me with respect? pity? well kindness in any sense, I probably would have tucked my tail and ran from the forums and become just another lurker.

Apart from what the first to posters replied I also want to add to it that I think you underestimate the fact that ladies know that men often aren't that good listener...so many of us know they need to be told the same advice again and again and again...as they often a) don't listen and b) don't want to ask others for advice and so didn't even try to figure out the search function...
