ORIGINAL: AnnaOfAramis FR It seems funny to me that society here (U.S.) is so hung up about nudity. When I lived in Germany one would see whole families naked- mom, dad, kids, grandma walking across the street carrying beach stuff to go to the lake. If you go and stay in a hotel in Munich and go to use the swimming pool, the changing room is co-ed and you may well pass (as my mother did the first time we arrived, lol) a man in the shower (a large multi person shower with no curtain) washing his hair and giving you a full frontal look at him. Kids there are used to seeing this and so it's no big deal (or at least it was like that 20 years ago- I haven't been there since reunification and all, so maybe things have changed). Not changed much at all. We are still naked in co-ed saunas (never understood the UK/US custom of wearing a bathing suit in a sauna), the family changing rooms are still there, and when the first really warm day in spring comes, you can find naked people soaking in the rays in many parks. However, those are all settings in which we know that we will, and are comfortable with, encountering naked people. Somebody exposing themselves for shock value in front of non-consenting onlookers would lead to a run in with the law enforcement here, too. I am really torn on this case. If I do remember the old thread correctly, there were a lot of differing descriptions. Especially the point of him moving from window to window to make sure he was seen, versus the need to trespass upon his ground to be even able to see was never really cleared up. I think I would need a live look at the property to come to an informed conclusion.
