So, in both cases you lost some time. I have a suggestion: go out into the big wide world and find a munch and meet some people that way. People you can see. Another thing to point out to you: you are very specific in your wants,your likes and dislikes. That is going to narrow down the field of available partners. As for the second person: it is something that can happen to anyone. She changed her mind. Meeting at your place the first time: not in many people's list of safe things to do... . Most people meet in a public place and not a private residence.
