regarding food, when I eat sausages or meat I tend to cut that one into pieces before starting to eat as I hate it to have to start cutting stuff again whilst eating....so I prefer to sort out all cutting at first and then start to eat.

I think cutting certain meats before cooking does indeed alter the cooking time and taste

In case there is a missunderstood...I did not mean before cooking....I cook it at first but then before I start to eat it from my plate, I sort out all cutting parts before I start eating....it just disturbs my joy of enjoying the lunch or dinner when I have to interrupt it all the time with cutting stuff apart...

Quirks: I wil not ever drink budweiser. It gives me the runs like a big ole bull dog. I do not like American beers. I like hamburgers with A 1 sauce. I never put catsup on a hot dog. I find that quite crass actually. I do not nor ever will eat a hairy pussy either. These are things that I must share. I have others; just ask.

They remind me of mice or rats with ears and those petrify me too.

Same thing with raisins.

My main quirk is alarm clocks. I do not care for them at all. I will not use one to wake myself. I prefer to quietly awake to my internal alarm clock, which does just fine for myself. I am also one who despises clutter and an unclean Home. Cleaning supplies are always available around my Home & of course cleaning is highly valued. Due to this quirk of mine with cleanliness, My Home is always orderly, neat, & clean. I prefer for My guests to feel relaxed when they visit. Upon the departure of any & all of My guests My Home is thoroughly cleaned once again.

Oh yeah.....no KFC bowls for me!!!!!  I even eat tacos one little pile at a time......I use a plate, not a shell......

I fold my dirty clothes before putting them into the dirty clothes basket. This is something my first Master did & I adopted it. Now I can't stand it if dirty clothes aren't folded. I've been asked on occasion, "How do you tell the clean clothes from the dirty ones then?" I explain that the clean ones are the ones that are put away in the drawers & closets, the dirty ones are the ones in the basket. Because I put the clean ones away as soon as they are clean.

I had to giggle with the foods not touching thing. Eating Sri Lankan food, Indian, and Ethiopian food would be difficult because the way one eats them is to mix them together or with the injira or naan, to get the flavors mixed together. I love smooshing ethnic food together like a native.

I have to eat my food in order, had steak, steamed veggies and potatoes the other night, first came the veggies, then the taters then the steak.

If I have toast, one has jam, the other needs to be either cinnamon spread or map-o-spread.  Can't have both slices with jam.

If I travel to visit friends, I bring my own o.j. just in case they don't have any or the kind I like.

I have to read myself to sleep or I don't get to sleep. 

My place is a total disaster zone, but i don't know where to start, so I don't. 

I am THE worst procrastinator ever, but I'm never late for an appt, etc.

I collect online recipes, to the tune of over 3,000 and I don't even have a stove or a full size fridge.

I collect (or used to) cookbooks, recipe magazines and just books in general.  Much to my dismay, I had to get rid of over 2,000 when I finally left Ottawa, only kept the ones I knew I'd read over and over again.

I read series of books, now from the Public Library, and keep track of author and what I've read when it's a series so that I can keep track of what I've read, since 17 hardcovers just lasted me about 2 wks.

I love to go through any catalogue, don't care what it is, if it's a catalogue, I have to go through it. 

I have stuffed animals, love to collect them, and now my close to being SIL saves or buys some and gives them to me cuz she knows how much I love them.

I have to say I love you to my dad everytime I speak to him on the phone or my call isn't complete, and if I don't say it or hear it, I call him back.

And certainly not last, I'm hooked on the damn judge shows on TV.  I've got my schedule worked out, same for my evening viewing. 

Ok, 1 more, I love to collect buddahs and would love nothing more than to have one of those huge ones like you see in Chinese stores.  And dragons, and wolves, and cowboy stuff, and native American stuff, and votive and tealight holders. 

K, done now, or I won't stop.  O, and I type too much, I just don't seem to know when to stop and I can't help myself.  But no spelling errors, I hate those, I'll backspace to correct and if I don't notice it then can't edit it drives me nutty.
