Done? What a concept, aye.

ahem...to avoid any potential missunderstanding...I was talking about when your accomodation is done....not your...lady in your arm....

One of my quirks, which everyone thinks is so funny while I don't, is that I am deathly afraid of rabbits.

Yes, you heard me, rabbits, bunnies, hares, whatever. I am petrified of them.

They remind me of mice or rats with ears and those petrify me too.

Also, I cannot even look at a mushroom or have one touch any food on my plate. If I order dinner in a restaurant and I say no mushrooms and I see even one, I flip out.

Same thing with raisins.

Totally weird.

Oh my god Red! .....my bunnies are sad now. They said they will convert you!   Also, they love raisins, so it is a double whammy!  Honestly, they smell like cookies and are sqishy, warm wiggly little love bugs.

Oh and edited to add my quirks...

I hate paperback books, they drive me crazy. All of my books are hardcover, and I dust them compulsively.

I can't stand odd numbers, for example if I am heating water for tea in a mug, it must be 2:00 or 2:22, never
1:47 for example, and if I am stressed I count in 2's, and if I make an error or get distracted, I have to start over, and must only use even numbers.

Cleaning. I can't even go to work in the morning with so much as a coffee cup in the sink. I have to wash and dry, put it away, and make sure kitchen is spotless even if I am running late. *Good thing I work for my man. .

I have to always honk my horn in whatever I am driving before starting the vehicle, a long time ago a kitty crawled into my engine....horrible accident. So, I obsessively insist on that, even in others car.

I refuse to eat at any kind of buffet restaurant. They gross me out, no matter how clean they appear.

When I have an iced cocktail, I want lots of ice, and a glass of ice on the side. Wierd I know, but I hate lukewarm drinks.

When I get off of an elevator, no matter how small the trip, I get vertigo every time, especially if there is a window upon exiting, I have to really not look at the window or I get really dizzy.

I wanted to test myself at the chipped fingernail polish thing and just about made myself go insane this evening. I have now scrubbed all the polish off and my nails are squeaky clean. I also tried Linea's folded dirty clothes in the basket thing last night and came home to find that Thing 2 had been instructed to put everything that was folded, away. So... she now has dirty clothes co-mingled with her clean stuff, as does Thing 1. When I informed the brood and their father of this, I was greeted with the most hateful faces ever. I was also interrogated as to who the hell folds dirty clothes and puts them in the laundry basket. I didn't say who, but I can guaran-damn-tee that I won't be folding dirty clothes ever again. To remind myself, I may go and write "I won't test out other people's compulsions" about 100 times.

Ok, this just made me laugh so hard I nearly split a gusset. I doesn't haz no Things around to mess up my CDO things for me. Tis heavenly for the CDO afflicted to live all alone & always have everything just so. *nods* And you can tell them who & who I got the habit from too. You know TWO people who do that. *gigglesnort*

Quirks: I wil not ever drink budweiser. It gives me the runs like a big ole bull dog. I do not like American beers. I like hamburgers with A 1 sauce. I never put catsup on a hot dog. I find that quite crass actually. I do not nor ever will eat a hairy pussy either. These are things that I must share. I have others; just ask.

I am really dis organized and messy, but inside, deep in my heart I crave organization. And I can plot to organize really well sometimes, an then fail to follow through, or get completely overwhelmed.

This is me, also
I used to be very organized; it came from running three labs when I was with Shell R&D in Houston, remodelling my house there, and being in a band. Now, because of this foot thing, not so much. A big part of it was apathy. I'm coming out of it now, though, and getting things back in order.

I don't have any major quirks anymore, only preferences.

BTW, most of you are fucking nuts. You know that, right? I mean DSM-IV crazy. And it's my opinion that the BDSM is part of the symptomology.

I believe that almost every savoury dish can be improved upon with at least a dash of curry powder, and I love Ajvar so much that I always have some in the house, and even eat it on toast for breakfast.

Crap!!! My secret is out. Yep, I'm actually certified fucking nuts. Although I'm not sure the shrinks put that exact phrase on the papers.
