Addicted to attention, like Des, yes, given in a complimentary or gracious fashion particularly but also something that is difficult to define for me. 
Here's my attempt:
i'm addicted to the cheerful, rosey glow of a satisfied person.  When they are at peace, calm, or "in the zone", "in their element", inspired, fulfilled, full of life.  i'm intensely eager in aiding them come to that "place". That place where they feel balanced and stress-less.

When We achieve this together, i take steps to maintain it for as long as possible, take steps to achieve it again.  If i cannot, i tend to experience a withdrawal style reaction, it is like a drug for me (to keep with the metaphor).

Plus, anything one might equate with a sexually inexperienced person's definition of  "third base".  That stuff makes me whimper and beg. :)

I thought about this for a long time. What does it for me is not easy to figure out, not just one thing, so I'm going with approval. If he thinks well of what I've done, I'll just want to impress him more. If on the other hand, he points out my mistakes, I might try to impress him, but I'll have more reserves. It is more probable for me to stand impossible things for the first situation, than for the second one.
Of course, that is not all. I have to know the person, he has to have a great personality, and be a good human being... and all that.

A close second for me is enforced servitude, i.e. something that I no longer freely choose. Its advantage is that it can be maintained over long periods of time, wheres fear tends to be a transitory emotion: you can't sustain large amounts of it for a lenghty time without going a little or a lot mad. And once you go mad, you may not be feeling fear anymore.

So, what addicts you? What makes you willing to do anything, absolutely anything, for more?

(And of course, those of you who frown on addiction--of any sort--or who are never addicted to anything are welcome to say youre piece, as well. I'm not particularly picky. I just like to know what others think.)


Five years ago I would have had a list of kinks that made me excited just thinking about them. Now, with the way my life has been for the past three months, I'm much more aware that it isn't any activity or mindset for me. It's him. I can live without all of the kink. I can't live without him.

I thrive on intense sadism and have a penchant for bisexual men. I'm certain the latter is probably due to the other aspects of my personality that don't come out in my relationships very often. I find men with a well defined edge and darkness to be very attractive and hard to resist in some instances. The things that do it for me are definitely the ones that take me to subspace:
