ORIGINAL: Kirata quote:
ORIGINAL: TheHeretic What is it that makes some people want to believe that there won't be a tomorrow? Usually, that would be today. K. hehe Well said, Kirata...there's been many a day I didn't want to face "tomorrow". But, Heretic, maybe for some it could be the 'what if' fascination of it all? I can't tell you how much I learned about the Mayans, astrology, astronomy, poles shifting, devastation and 12/21/2012 (or was it the 22nd?). Not because I truly believed the world was going to end on that day, but just because of the interest of it all. Inquiring minds and all that, ya know? Some like to live by conspiracy theories...others like to believe they're doomed...some are just fascinated with the why's of it all (the why's of why people believe it, that is)...and others just like to educate themselves with trivia. And then again...some are just always up for a good story, too!
