Gates suggested using cell phones to record each birth and send the information, including biometric identifiers, to a central database/

Such ideas could conceivably involve using the GPS devices inside phones to physically track parents who do not bring their children in for vaccines./snip

While some good could potentially come of it-- it opens up a can of worms into tracking and central data base.  Besides- are parents really that incapable??

Despite the source Gates address to the mHealth summit did include that suggestion. Of course it takes hunk and PP to blow it up into implanting chips.

If the parents aren't capable of raising the kids, the State has to step in. That's part of what the State is there for.

No I didn't. I said that the State is obliged to step in when parents are incapable of looking after their kids. I never said a word about mobile phones.
