Man Sues Escort Service Over Sex Act

A New York City man is suing a Las Vegas escort service, claiming that he is suffering from a “psycotic disorder” as a result of an incident last month during which an agency employee “did an illegal sexual act on me during her paid service to me.” In a lawsuit filed earlier this month in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, Hubert Blackman, a 22-year-old East Harlem resident, alleges that the Las Vegas Exclusive Personals escort “broke the law” during a December 17 encounter. Blackman’s civil rights complaint seeks reimbursment of the $275 he paid the escort, as well as “a $1.8 million verdict for the tragic event that happened.”/snip

To make this all the more stupid, he has filed with a court that has no jurisdiction over the alleged act.

I'd like to follow him around at his college after word gets out. I'd probably be able to write a book from all the comments people are going to make to him.

Anyone notice the timeline? Half hour for the lap dance AND the sex. THAT is going to get him a lot of dates. The original minute man.

Another example of better to remain silent and be thought stupid than to speak and remove all doubt.

This means there’s a lawyer for every 269 persons; man, woman and child (!).

And for the UK? Just under 62,000,000 people, of whom 128,695 are lawyers (112,240 solicitors* and 16,455 barristers) so that makes just over 1 lawyer per 483 people.

I think we may have unwittingly stumbled across why those numbers are so different :)

I do recall reading once that 20% of California’s entire permanent workforce are employed in some capacity within the legal profession, but the percentage seemed a tad too high - even for California.

*A couple of censuses ago there was a vast jump in the number of solicitors. This puzzled the hell out the statisticians until some bright spark realised loads of prostitutes were putting themselves down as “solicitors” :)
