But, I will ask if anyone has seen and or thought about the many articles juxtaposing the Birthers and the Truthers?

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie is giving up on efforts to squash claims that President Barack Obama wasn't born in his state -- but it's not for lack of trying.

State Attorney General David Louie told the governor that it's against state law to release private documents, including an individual's birth documentation without the person's consent

"There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document," Abercrombie's spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz said Friday. "Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president."

Cato84, birthers, warmers and truthers, it's a mental disease. They'll argue incessantly into the early morning hours non-stop then start all over again the next day!
You can come up with overwhelming evidence against them and they just disregard it and keep going!
And the UFO people are like that too only not near as bad, certainly not as bad as the global warming wackos!
And what's funny is that any of those subjects can be interchangable to people of a certain psychological makeup.
It only depends on which that they latch onto first. If they talked to a truther first they'd become a truther etc.
I just cut them right off, I've wasted enough time trying to "debate" them.

That said this ruling by the state of Hawaii really doesn't look good even if you're not a "birther."
Why don't they just release the birth certificate and be done with it? Put it to bed! But, if they did that the "truthers" and "warmers" would be getting some "new recruits" if it turned out to be true that Obama was born in Hawaii. Or, they'd do like the warmers and not believe anything that anyone said.
At least you can talk to the UFO people, their minds are somewhat open to science and you can have an actual discussion with them without nit-picking every single syllable.
As for me I don't know where Obama was born. How would I, I don't know him. But I'm not going to waste my time going to meetings about it or joining online groups about it or arguing incessantly about it when I just don't know anything about it.
Some people are just easily obsessed I guess.

Hawaii cannot release it. It is against the law there to do so.

Obama, legally, doesnt have to release it. Constitutional lawyer and such... Im sure he knows that part of the law.

It strikes me as funny... in a non-haha kind of way... that some who consistently bring up the birther nonsense on these boards are some of the same ones who object to a national ID, object to having to "prove" you were born here, object to being made to "carry your papers".

Given that the relevance of such information has been established by the U.S. Constitution no less and that we are living in a democracy it is lame for the government to claim it is against the law to release it. The effort would need to be well funded and the candidate well vetted since you don't want him or her disqualified for other reasons. As long as the Supreme Court can explain itself, I'm fine with it. If it can't, I'm not sure what to think.

In conclusion, the skeptics instead of debating it need to put their money where their mouth is.

Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo again confirmed Friday that Obama's name is found in its alphabetical list of names of people born in Hawaii, maintained in bound copies available for public view.

That information, called index data, shows a listing for "Obama II, Barack Hussein, Male," according to the department's website.

"The index is just to say who has their records within the department. That's an indication," Okubo said. "I can't talk about anyone's records."

Why?  Maybe because Obama works for Wall Street, and not the people?

He will not be able to run in 2012.  Plain and simple.   If even one state voids him-  he is toast. Hillary might as well get ready- she would be better then him anyway.

I do not want austerity.     Obama will be blamed for the economy and Wall street will dispose of him when the time comes.

Look at who is on his staff, JPM/GS, same guys as on Bush, Clinton and Reagan.  We live in a corporation- not a country- and he is supposed to be a public servant- that means he is suppose to work for us- and as such-  he is required to be born here.    His birth certificate is not a copyrighted- patented state secret.  He is our employee- and as such - we can not hire illegals.

Status: offline 		But, also according to law, you cannot ask an illegal for anything more than a SS number and a Birth Certificate. Even if you believe he is illegal, an employer cannot ask. He has provided the exact form I provided my employer. Its a valid form.

Give us your birth certificate, your address, your social security number, the location and amount of your silver and/or gold, the list of medications you should be taking, your car title, an inventory of your household including whats under your sink, and have it all notarized by the secretary of state.

He showed the goddamn thing to those what need to see it, and he was sworn.

Believe me, if there were any truth whatsoever to this he was born in kenya shit, the house wouldn't have read any excerpts from the constitution or blathered about how they are repealing the fuckin health care bill, they would have immediately and forthwith thrown him the fuck outta office, tout de suite.


There is no reason, no symbolism, no conspiracy, no larger issue, no cover up, no Jews are taking over the world, no concentration camps were resorts, no WTC was a conspiracy, no soverign monarch, no method of circumcision, no nothing...... to keep ANYONE in the office of POTUS if he doesn't make the constitutional requirements.

I dont work for you.  Obama does.

Despite what you think-  Texas wont let him run in 212.  Texas has electoral votes.       Without it- no one can win the prez.

If there is nothing to hide- why are they hiding it?   The HI governor offered to put an end to this debate- and now he suddenly does not know HI law?  WTF. He is the highest dude in that state... and he doesn't know the law- and offers to put resolve into this debate- now he discovers it is against the law- when he is the governor there?  How did he win- if he does not know what the law is on something so basic?
