My apologies, the link did not go to the specific mattress. Mine is the bottom one. Basically it has a few springs on the very bottom, a lot of layers of foam (nearly a foot of it) then afeather like fibre pillow top. I spent a month researching various mattress options. Either was either this one or the super firm Tempurpedic with a feather bed topper to counter act the heat retention of the Tempurpedic foam. I am always hot and absolutely MUST have natural materials that breath. Only 100% high thread count cotton sheets and quilts that have only cotton batting OR, if it is really cold, a down comforter. My pillows are also feather.
The mattress is a 'no flip' type that is really tall and I hate climbing clear UP into bed. So, me being me, I just built platform for the mattress with storage underneath. I've had it for nearly 6 years now and still love it as much as when I got it.
