I really do not know who is at fault for this and I do not want to blame anyone unjustly, but whomever it is that has been praying to the Ice G*ds, they really need to KNOCK IT THE FUCK OFF!

Yeah, after the easiest winter on record (last week, highs were in the fifties and sixties), Colorado just got socked with bitter cold this week.

I am also holding you responsible for any insane posts that I may make tomorrow as I am being driving crazy by Butterhead when she is not allowed outside for the entire day because of the winter storm and blizzard coming through.

s'ok, in another few months i'll be carrying on about the cold and you can cackle madly.

i'd suggest dress up box and tea party for butterhead? and toe sox so she can FEEL she's almost barefoot without actually being barefoot. (tell her you hate them, she's sure to love them, worked for my kids [;)])

twenty pounds thistle seed- check
thirty bags assorted cat treats - check
two boxes firewood- check
woodpecker and suet blocks- check
flashlight/radio batteries- check
candles/lampoil- check

She does not have a tea set, but I may have one from when I was little.  A china one.  I know I have a couple of mini-ones, and I mean the itty bitty ones.  If nothing else, I will improvise with the real china tea pot and china tea cups.  LOL

She does have a dress-up box. 

I am sure that we will figure something out.

I took her to the bookstore today and we have a new movie to watch, "Indian in the Cupboard."  She liked the "Night at the Museum" movies, so I thought that this one might be good as well. 

And of course, she can always spend time taking care of "Harry Beebee." 

I don't make her wear shoes in the house.  Although she will wear her rainboots and snowboots around at times.

I have two new pairs of tabi sox to wear with my ecco sandals. Is it sandal weather? It is NOT. I know that spring is three months away. I know that winter happens every year. I still say harumph!

6 years in Miami was enough for me. I spent more time outdoors when I was in New England. I'm moving back north in May. I figure the next several winters will be mild.
