Are you trying to argue that circumcision results in differential rates of reproduction? Got any evidence?

DomKen, I think that it is great that you have an interest in evolution theory and that you have acquired some pertinent knowledge about the subject. However, you again and again show that you do not make the grade. Now be a dear and go play with your toys, please.

No.

I take great pleasure in humiliating loudmouthed fools who claim to know things they don't. As long as you keep posting your crap I'll be here making you look like the fool you are.

Humiliating me?

Unless the decapitee laid down some spunk to be frozen before losing his head. There's been a few cases of dead guys still having kids because their SO (not always a widow) decided frozen was just as good as fresh when it comes to semen.

Rule lacks the wherewithall to actually know what he posts about. His ignorance concerning genetics among other things is well known.

Watching him trying to talk around the fact that he's suggesting a lamarckian mechanism for inheritance of acquired traits can be pretty funny, though...

No giving head without having head.

The topic comes up seemingly everywhere he posts.

I have to disagree, sometimes he talks about unicorns instead.

The thing is once it is done- it is not reversible. So lets say I get convinced that I should not be circumcised- it is not like I can un-do it.

That's not entirely accurate: Foreskin restoration

Where did I ever talk about the inheritance of acquired traits? Nobody can quote me on that. This remark does show, though, that anyone who has the impression that I did, either did not read my post 15 or did not comprehend my post 15.

I do note that as yet nobody has responded to Elisabella's post as quoted by me in the opening post.

I also note that there have been a number of odd replies to Elisabella's text, starting with Musicmysteries' post number two, which appears to be addressed to me instead of to Elisabella's text.

Then there is DomKen's post number six in which he strangely remarks that I am blathering about circumcision causing genetic disease. First of all I do not blather, and secondly in the previous posts in this thread I did not mention genetic diseases at all.

jlf1961, the resident forum troll with the numerous sock-puppet profiles, incongruously in his post 36 makes a remark about me, the opening poster, instead of responding to the text by Elisabella quoted in the opening post.

There are also various people who demonstrate a lack of comprehension.

Politesub53 in his post 19 shows that he does not comprehend scientific discourse and methodology.

cyprian in his or her post 33 appears to make up his own reality since he or she wonders or concludes that I have been alluding something. If anyone can quote any of my previous five thousand or six thousand posts where I allude anything, I will be both interested as well as surprised. In any case his or her made up reality is preposterous.

Rule, all I understand is that you are a supergenius and we are mere mortals. What chance do we have of competing with someone who has his own concept of "Concept" ?

Possibly because this thread is more concerned with your bizarre cultural statements about anybody without a foreskin being Jewish, even the muslims and your misuse of the term "social darwinism".
You've still yet to provide a rationale for either of those, after all.

If you insist though:
quote:

This is about population genetics, not individual genetics. One can be circumcised and not have any progeny, yet nevertheless contribute to an increased frequency of deleterious alleles in the future gene pool.

If somebody has no progeny, they're not leaving a genetic legacy of any sort. The statement quoted above is completely laughable.

Actually, a mere mortal might. Some special people would have an even better chance. Yet other people simply cannot: they lack the wherewithal. That in itself is not a problem. What is a problem, is that people without (whatever) wherewithal are unable to recognize their lack of wherewithal, and consequently are forever in denial, especially if they have a BIG ego. Narcissists are never able to accept that they have done any wrong or that they fail in some way.

Prime examples are people who have suffered brain damage or other bodily injuries. I know of one case - there are many similar cases - where a man lost his right arm. He denied having lost that arm. He said: "I can write a letter with both my arms". So he did; first with his left arm and subsequently with his right arm. Both times he used his left arm...
It is obvious what happened: the part in his left brain that controlled his right arm did not become dysfunctional or die when he lost that arm, but rerouted to control his left arm instead. So as far as his mind was concerned, he still had both arms. He was simply unable to recognize that he had lost part of his body.

Children who are born blind or deaf will never know nor comprehend what they lack. They can be told what they lack, but it will never ring any bell.
