After I wrote the above it occurred to me that some may not understand what I said fully when I said it was a trick. By saying this I did not nullify what I wrote through admission that I was tricked. He was pretending, despite his verbiage, that what he said was a principle of logic disguised as a philosophical principle. The man in my opinion is disgusting trash.

Frankly, the above highlighted bit sums up your posts perfectly me, for me.

I am not a rocket scientist/philosopher/what have you.  But I *AM* reasonably intelligent, and pretty much all I am getting from your ramblings is veiled snarkiness against the wicked smart folks here:  Ott, MM, etc, couched in faux-philobabble and big words.

it comes off as you paging through dictionaries and philosophy books, trying to make yourself look ultracool/ultrasmart.

drop the pretentiousness and quit acting like you dont have to pull your pants on with one leg in each side, like the rest of us.

I assure you I'm not especially interested in coming off as cool. I do not preoccupy myself with such things. My primary goal has been to show that I'm worth having sex with. I assure you, I'm good in bed. I'm not bad looking either. I can't help it if I'm good at some things. I have some experience, some pretty remarkable experience, but also not a whole lot of experience. I have as they say potential. Am I clumsy? I thought females were teachers. I can be a pupil so long as my teacher is willing to be submissive and isn't bad looking.

I wonder why the above post was censored.

The post is not censored.  The quote remains.  It is site policy for everyone to keep their quotes trimmed.  It saves many pages of server space.

In your case, you gave us the link to the quote you want us to read, and then post it in its entirety besides.

The link remains, and will take you to what you said in its entirety. What idea or thrust of thought process has been actually redacted?

The site administration (in the guise of myself), simply removed the duplication.

You will also note that I removed a duplicate posting I just made.  Even moderators are not infallable, let's move on.

Since this is no longer in the Gorean forum (and I do feel bad for you folks, really) I doubt anyone needs to refrain out of respect for a Gorean topic.

I can assure you that an online forum is not where one should achieve your intended primary goal.  In fact, I'd be so bold to say that if the first highlighted above is true, you shouldn't need to convince people on a written medium.  In general, a good looking man with reasonable competence in bed doesn't have to convince anyone that they are worth sleeping with.  Regardless of your obvious belief in your self-importance, if you were nearly what you claimed to be, you wouldn't be here attempting to accomplish said goal.

While many females will teach desirable partners techniques in bed, you have yet to meet the female who finds you worthy of being so.  I am not Gorean, but I have every reason to believe that your methods are not appealing.  Gorean females have never given Me the impression that they want men who whimper like puppies at the first bit of attention from the opposite sex.  It was always My understanding that they wanted competent Free Companions and strong Masters.  Something you do not convey.

BenevolentM -> RE: Value of Poetry (2/7/2011 4:21:36 PM)

Thank you for helping to clarify the situation VideoAdminSigma. My link was not to my post, however. It was to the post I was replying too. I thought to minimize the amount of text by providing a link to what I was replying too. My post is located at http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=3560089. I couldn't find it initially. Though the thread's topic concerns the world trade center buildings, the post I was replying to concerns whether aspirin works. On this point I'm neutral. It has nothing to do with what I'm saying. I reposted what I wrote there here because it dovetailed nicely with what I wrote earlier in this thread "I thought females were teachers." I thought to praise Termyn8or even though I don't feel that he gets everything right. I feel he is getting some things right.

As his mom is concerned from what I could gather reading over some of his posts quickly is that the aspirin, reading between the lines, must have been causing her to bruise easily. That should touch everyone's heart. This man deserves a girlfriend (provided he doesn't have a jealous girlfriend already of course).

It ill behooves me to speak on behalf of T, as he can do so very well himself, but let me tell you that it gives a bad impression when discussing subjects that one does not know sufficiently about.

And please stop these suffocating sugary comments. [:'(]

Given what I wrote I knew clearly at the time I wrote it that it would be received with skepticism along these very lines. What can I tell you? I'm desperate. The Internet sucks, so does every other avenue. There are a lot of people who want the Internet to suck because it scares them and that is the real point, "Don't come here to make a silk pursue out of a sow's ear. Don't breath health into it. We like the environment to be as polluted and sickly as possible. It keeps things manageable and the management task is overwhelming as it is." Like I said earlier. I could not come to accept celibacy on a voluntary basis. Event though there is little hope, I am a man and I shall strive for love so long as I have breath.

The usual tactic is to say walk in my shoes. Earlier I wrote about potential. How do women think? Modern women want a prepackaged deal and then want half if the two of you should ever get divorced. This is not just and because it is an injustice it is not rational. Suppose you were a talent scout for a baseball team and you went to, I don't know, Cuba. I recall something about baseball and Cuba. It would be absurd to discount a ballplayer because of his salary. What you want to know is whether or not the ballplayer has talent and whether you could make something of him or her. Modern women have either very little self-confidence or are completely self-absorbed. Sadly, the debilitating social diseases that infect the Internet are present in the real world too.

One way or the other I'm going to have to cope. Sex nor feminine companionship in general aren't everything and it wastes my valuable time. There is what you can do for others to lessen their burden and misery. I can only strive to help make this a better world for future generations. I'll be too old. The only thing I'll ever have are dreams and maybe a few poems to my name that will perhaps one day inspire women to be the best that they can be.

I'm glad I have a sense of humor. My favorite line of the above poem is "I have read Poets of Gor". I wonder what I could do with that line. This is something that came to mind.

I have read the Poets of Gor.
Alas, I am but a mortal man.
Alas, kajira, alas.
Only my heart can be yours.

What can I tell you?  Desperation is never attractive and it particularly isn't attractive in males.

No, the internet doesn't suck and neither do other venues.  The fact is, if you can't hack the venue, you might want to look for other options.  You attempting to put yourself forth as some kind of white knight when you need saving yourself is pathetic.  Things like sex, love, or affection aren't things that you try to obtain with this sympathy pitch that you've got going on.

quote:

Like I said earlier. I could not come to accept celibacy on a voluntary basis. Event though there is little hope, I am a man and I shall strive for love so long as I have breath.

Yet, you come across that you believe somebody should love you because of qualities that you don't possess.  Personal relationships are not a charity ward.

Also, please, I'm about sick of hearing you bitch about your celibacy.  I've been voluntarily celibate before during periods in My life by My own choosing.  On both occasions, I never complained about it as much as you have in less than two hundred posts.  I can tell from this and other threads, I'm not the only one tired of the tune you constantly play.

quote:

The usual tactic is to say walk in my shoes.

I walk in your shoes more than you think.  Probably the ones you wish you were walking in, if you'd like to really be honest.  I attract more women than you do, and I'm straight.

quote:

Earlier I wrote about potential. How do women think?

Quick clue.  Women have certain qualities that attract them to partners.  While these vary from individual to individual, I have yet to see any woman say that one of the qualities that they want in a Dominant partner is desperation.  Whining tends not to go well and neither does the sympathy card.  Arrogance or inflated self importance when competence isn't even evident is laughable at best and ridiculous at worst.

quote:

Modern women want a prepackaged deal and then want half if the two of you should ever get divorced. This is not just and because it is an injustice it is not rational.

Divorce settlements don't have jack to do with your original.  Take that up on another thread and for the love of mike, stop quoting yourself within current threads from other threads.  If people are interested in what you have to say, they'll read it the first time.

quote:

What you want to know is whether or not the ballplayer has talent and whether you could make something of him or her.

As silly as this is, fine.  Suppose I'm a baseball scout.  I'll bet I'd sign people who displayed talent on the field instead of one sitting on the bench holding up a sign saying, "Look at Me and how great I am".  I'd sure as hell probably not sign someone who can't play, can't pitch, can't hit, and can't catch.  There's a whole league of guys who can.

quote:

Modern women have either very little self-confidence or are completely self-absorbed.

Boy, did you just meet the wrong woman!

quote:

Sadly, the debilitating social diseases that infect the Internet are present in the real world too.

Oh, if you mean not everybody is going to pat you on the head, agree with how great you think you are, and hand out sympathy fucks, you are right.

quote:

One way or the other I'm going to have to cope.

Well, either that or you'll have to become the type of man that women will have an attraction to.  That means quit the harping about poor, poor you who *needs* a woman to pay attention to you.

quote:

Sex nor feminine companionship in general aren't everything and it wastes my valuable time.

The deal is, when someone *wants* to spend their time on you, it's a whole new ballgame.

quote:

There is what you can do for others to lessen their burden and misery. I can only strive to help make this a better world for future generations.

Then do that.  Take part in a charity drive.  Plant a tree.  Donate some time in a soup kitchen.  Do things that actually make it a better world for someone instead of battling windmills.

quote:

I'll be too old. The only thing I'll ever have are dreams and maybe a few poems to my name that will perhaps one day inspire women to be the best that they can be.

Your over inflated self importance makes Me wonder about your competence.  Do you have reason to believe that any woman has found you inspiring, rather than thinking you have been foolish?  Do you not think that women aren't already on the path of being the best than can be whether they have ever heard of you or not?  Your own position makes you ridiculous.

Since you don't appear to know, I'll help you.  The fact is you have no great significance to random people on the internet.  You are just like one of billions of grains of sand on the beach.  The fact that you think you are more than that makes Me wonder if you have some sort of delusions of grandeur in regards to yourself.

I find what you wrote interesting. I do not understand the relationship between sex and worldliness. Perhaps you can explain it to me.

Maybe the hard drives over in Arlington are becoming filled to capacity. Anyway, I do not understand the correlation between sex and worldliness.
