ORIGINAL: chubbysubbyguy I've seen a case or two where actual force or coercion was used many years ago when I was in Iraq. We had an ice vendor who would come by everyday with huge blocks of ice for all of us, we would let him into our "base" where he would chip the ice and fill our coolers. One day he didn't show so while we were on patrol we passed by his home to check on him, door was kicked in, him, his, wife, and kids were gone. A few days later he showed up at the gate bruised up and wearing several pounds of explosives. Luckily for all involved the device was assembled wrong and failed to detonate. There was a scene much like that in "The Hurt Locker" ... people having explosives locked to them, I mean. Irish terrorists used to hijack taxis, load them with home-made bombs, and force them to drive to checkpoints, during "The Troubles"* too. *such an odd term for a conflict, that ... what was it before that? "The Tiffs"? "A Bit Of Pushing And Shoving"?
