OP, your question is a tad strange at face value.

If you're feeling horny, then to put it bluntly, FUCK. If you have nobody to hand, take yourself in hand. For me, sex - the variety where the eyeballs roll back, the roof gets shouted down and even the neighbours light up afterwards is a very, VERY important part of the relationship with my slave or with any other girl.

Sex is one of the 5 fundamental sensory pleasures and a girl who doesn't enjoy them lustily and heartily isn't going to get any time out of me.

Wow, really? That is not my experience at all. I have a healthy libido and no matter what kind of vibrator I use, it never ruins me for a partner. In fact, it actually revs it up even more.

Heya, Red, I definitely agree with you there.

And Mummy, my partner is several years older than I am, (I'm 53) and he's able to keep up with me, no problem, Hitachi or not! I've had 27 year old men throw in the towel and poop out. He puts them all to shame. Just because there's snow on the roof doesn't mean there's no fire in the fireplace.

Call me shallow but I don't have this issue at all. This is part of the compatibility process and something I pay close attention to. Especially in situations where a power exchange is involved. I believe it's a different kind of frustration from denial and I prefer to minimize my aggravation whenever possible.

It si one of the reasons why I am poly. Never been able to find a partner that can "keep up " with me. They all say they do, but when time comes, there is no walkind after the talking ;)

drinking has never put off my sex drive. =p being drunk and having a hangover usually makes it worse. i haven't had that many hangovers, though, because i'm usually doing a lot of dancing and burning the alcohol off. =p

i can see "polyfuckery" as being a remedy for it ("poly" usually means polyamory to me, with love involved and all that), or just dating around and picking someone who really matches you. i don't think it's shallow (everyone has their criteria to meet), but i'd have missed out on some cool people in my life if i went with that criteria.

and i agree with sexyred1 -- if i tinker with myself to orgasm, it usually just makes the sex drive higher, not lower. i have REALLY strong vaginal/clitoral/anal orgasms and vibrators/masturbation just doesn't get me to the same place anyway. i can be a little "all or nothing" at times (sometimes positive, sometimes not) and so i often just don't bother to masturbate because it'll just make things worse, not better. =p haha

somehow i missed this post, which has interesting questions in it.
i prefer to date older guys. i dated younger and older, and my most positive experiences were with older guys.
but even with the younger ones, it seemed like i always was more in the mood than they were.
i tend to be really self conscious and once you get a negative response, that tends to stick with you. so every now and again i get a twinge of wondering if i have a problem. =p haha
i dont think i do, and i don't think it's all that out of proportion. i'm not putting myself in risky situations for the sake of sex. but sometimes i feel like i'm asking too much or making demands, and it really makes you feel weird and unwanted sometimes. =p

I'm an at least once a day guy, it can get to be a big deal if your partners libido isn't well matched.

I can go a few days without, but a week would be really pushing it.

with my adhd i had a very high libdo after i started my new meds one of them being paxil that brought my sex drive down to a tolerable level for my wife

I have an extremely high sex drive when I am around someone who holds my heart and head. Though when I am by myself almost none at all. Masturbation can be fun but never leads to satisfaction for me either so I view it as fairly pointless.

Get a hobby, like sewing, nothing like working that needle in and out in and outttt......

Hmmm...ok...maybe try cooking, handling cucumbers, zucchinis and carrots for a few hours ought to.................

re: "clicking" -- that's often the hardest part, and i find if i click with someone, i'd rather keep that and try to sort the sex thing out, because it's somewhat uncommon that i click all that well with anyone anyway
