Well, I'm so glad to see such a happy and positive thread going on here. Big time congrats for you TFB, that's awesome!! I went and got myself a puppy and he forces me on five mile walks each day which, hopefully, someday will turn into runs.

Find what things you love and keep doing them...walks around downtown, water aerobics or even just a video at home to do in private. Find what gets you moving and keep going.

Congratulations again, yay!!!

I am continuing to loose! I was afraid with being sick an not being able to get out I would stall, but the scale did say I weighed less.

Let the puppy off the leash and it WILL turn into runs.  Aren't I helpful?

TFTB, congratulations.  I note that this isn't a single thing - it's a lot of things.  You're looking for work, eating better, and exercising.  It's all good.

Keep up the good work TFB.

Let us know how it's coming along.

Thank you all:)

and Steven, yes, letting her puppy off the leash will indeed turn walks into runs if it's a runner lol.our dearly departed Ginger thought it was great fun to make mommy n daddy chase her down if she got loose, I however did not enjoy her fondness for let's play chase Ginger.

I weighed 318.2 the first of the month, and today I got weighed at 312.

Greetings tfb:

This weight loss is an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations! [sm=champ.gif] For every pound lost you do gain self confidence to remain on the right track, indeed. Progress taste much better than defeat, aye!

(((((BIG Huggsss)))))) if you need them, of course. [;)]

Take good care of you!

Toppingfrmbottom -> Dinner was served. (3/7/2011 7:08:58 PM)

I cooked for the whole family, it was something called Mexican sandwhiches, it was a recipe lady n tweaked for me when I was working with her, it was 90 percent lean hamburger meat, and bell peppers a onion an steamed head of cauliflower an non fat cream cheese mix it an tomato sauce together, we cheated an used paste n made it thin out with water mix it all together pinch a center of a roll out put mix in an bake with sprinkles of cheese, only every one liked the mix an was hungry so we just toasted the double fiber bread bread in the toaster, an microwaved the cheese to melt it. It was really gooooood, it's super filling too. It doesn't sound that great probably to others but it was.

FR

I gained 4.4 lbs. in the last five days.

Somebody around here has those extra pounds. Who tookem ?

T^T

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Dinner was served. (3/9/2011 2:51:26 AM)

Is the gain a goodthing?

Termyn8or -> RE: Dinner was served. (3/9/2011 2:59:17 AM)

Not really. I lost alot of weight when I was sick, from the wrong places, like muscles. And what I gained back was in the wrong places - the gut.

Oh well. I'm still pleased to be under 250. It was 200.6 lbs last Wednesday, and 205 on Monday. I hope at least some of that is muscle. I used to be so strong, I was the guy everybody called to help them move. It worked really well to get free beer.
