I am going to disagree with you Panda.
I plan to vote for President Obama, AGAIN, unless the other candidate impresses ME, as a BETTER CHOICE.

Myself, I'll probably just sit this one out. I don't see anyone emerging whom I really trust and respect, and I don't vote for the lesser of two evils anymore.

Maybe, President Obama is having a hard time making very tough choices, because many Americans including President Obama, find it hard to swallow "tough choices".

But see, this is where I disagree with you. That's his job. This is both his constitutional and his moral obligation, and he is abrogating it by playing for political position.

His job is to step up in front of the country and communicate to the American people what needs to be done, why it is essential to do it, and what will happen if we do not. He needs to have the balls to be the bearer of bad news, to fight for what he believes needs to be done, and he simply does not. This has been his pattern ever since he walked into the Oval Office - he doesn't have the balls to risk looking like a bad guy to the American people, and consistently puts other people in the position of having to fight his fights  for him.

He's a coward. I'm ashamed not to have seen through him while there was still time not to vote for the man.

President Obama has a hard time cutting many government programs and services, at at time that many NEED these services the most.

Most of the recommendations of the bipartisan budget commission don't require immediate cutbacks in essential services. Most of the key proposals can be implemented immediately with very little short-term pain to the vulnerable populations. The point is, they need to at least get the ball rolling in that direction, and ease into the cutbacks over the coming years. And Obama lacks the courage to do it.

I still say, we are no where near the bottom, and many people {including President Obama}, find it hard to wrap their heads around and can't deal with the reality that will be coming our way.

Many people don't like admitting, that what is coming may not be pretty.

It won't be pretty, but now it will be worse because Obama has kicked the problem down the road for one more election cycle rather than making an honest attempt to solve it. Lather, rinse, repeat. The exact same political decisionmaking that led us to this precipice in the first place.

Blowboy is being excoriated by the lefties over this farcical waste of trees too. Stocking up on popcorn for what is going to be an even more entertaining year and half than expected.

I thought the pie chart was ironic...where did the federal salary freeze show up that the GOP was howling about?

Boehner's making a local splash by wanting to keep GE's F-35 engine alternative.  Neither Obama nor Gates wants it but by all gods, Boehner wants it!

Guess it doesn't have to do with GE's plant near Cincy.
