A contract can be highlighted on every single page that it is not a legal document. So what? It can still be entered as evidence in a court of law. Journals, diaries, phonecalls, school papers, poetry, stories, etc... are not legal documents, but they are certainly admissable as evidence. Evidence doesn't have to meet a standard of whether or not it is a legal document, only if it is legally admissable.
Don't want your contract used in court? Don't have one.
Exactly why I have them.
They may not be a "legal" document.
But it does paint a good picture of what was consented too.
Especially when its their handwrinting saying what they want.
