I'm 44y/o and relatively new to the dating scene again. I'm looking for someone real. No games. Does the internet actually bring people together?? Time will tell. I'm not looking for sex, but sexuality/ sensuality and intimacy. If you want to chat, please send me a message.

While the internet may not be the best way to meet others with similar interests,
there are many relationships that have been formed on this site.
You may also be interested in attended some local meetings/events in your area.

There are 'real' people as well as what i guess are not 'real'. I know what it is like entering the dating field after a long time. What has helped me was not to have high expectations, and just go with the flow. I feel we get what we give out in this world. It also is good to pace yourself and not be in a hurry.

The good news is that you CAN find a partner on the internet.

I did.

The bad news is that it can take a loooong time - in my case 8 years in total (on 3 different kink sites).

I also go to local kink events, but there's a serious dearth of 40-something single male sadistic doms in my area who also go to events, sadly!

Status: offline 		Welcome to CM and the boards.  Most people on this side are very real.  I've met 5 Dominants through the internet.  For various reasons, things didn't work out, but I did take away some good things from those relationships.  Good luck in your search, be patient and trust your gut instinct.

Status: offline 		Welcome Mark - yes it can and does happen, but patience is critical! Hang around the message boards and you will soon identify lots of genuine folks. The profiles side is a bit hit and miss, but most of the idiots are kind enough to plant big red flags in their profiles which makes it easier! If you're not sure about red flags, just ask a question if you can't find it already using the search (top right corner above the flags there!).

Status: offline 		You have to be very patient and take everything lightly. I always remember that it takes a few seconds to type out messages on here to someone back and forth... Versus, actually going somewhere, engaging face to face. In some ways i have found online to be a great place to break the ice and get to know people....but there are so many face to face aspects that are missing.
