You know, wouldn't have been more wise strategically to say,"Like I emphasized in 2007, Breast-feeding is important, more healthy (blah, blah, blah), but I don't think that the state should have to buy the breast pumps for each citizen".

Instead she had to slam M Obama for saying something that Palin herself promoted in the past.

Such vindictiveness is lame and divisive.

He may be confused. I believe that Ms. Palin was saying that policies that cause a raise in the price of commodities (like milk) are bad.

Breast milk is not normally a commodity. Although IIRC there is a chef in France that uses it in a whole lot of recipes.

That aside, I read this a  few days ago and it just seems that the woman really doesnt give a damn about anything but putting Michelle down in whatever she chooses to do as first lady
She did the same with the obesity initiative
jelly bitch if you ask me:)
you can bet she didnt nurse Trig for more than a week, if that.
the only way she is gonna get to the white house is to hitchhike.

Lucy, I understand that you do not care for Ms. Palin. However, that comment insinuates that any woman that does not breastfeed is bad/wrong/evil/pick your adjective.

Perhaps you should reconsider painting with such broad brush-strokes.

No, she's slamming BObama, no biggie there.

Palin was slamming Michelle when P took exception to MO's statement that breast-feeding could promote heathier kids. P likened it to telling people how to raise their kids. That statement is also endorsed by studies of the the NIH, I believe.

I don't mind P taking exception to a provision in the health care law that might provide funds for breast pumps. That's a fiscal issue (not one that I agree with).
