Coming from a farming background I used to eat all kinds of stuff - sheep's hearts, kidneys and liver, pickled cow's tongue (delicious, the meat is so tender :p) I simmered it for a couple of hours in water with a tablespoon of golden syrup in it. We made our own sausages and minced up lots of bits and pieces for those The Maori people in the town I grew up in used to make fermented corn That smelled so foul I couldn't go inside when they were eating it! I like most seafood but can't bring myself to try kina (sea urchin) it looks like spew
