Someone mentioned voice as a turn on .and a deep calm voice is attractive to me too...smiles..sighs..
But what about a turn off?
Do you have a deal breaker?
Smells are affecting me more as I age.
Bad breath is something I can not get past .I dont mind ,and actually like it, if it's garlicky or something..but unbrushed ,and neglected is just funky..ewww
I love heavy beers but not on a man's breath.
I love wine breath..Or bourbon breath...yummy
My favorite is fruit breath , like pear breath...mmmm...
BO kills me,because it causes an immediate,rather intense reaction in me.. unless it's on someone I am already hot for..then it can be pure bliss.

That covers most of the more annoying mental illnesses in this realm.

turn offs: extreme clinginess, but also too much hard-to-get. bad breath. cigarette smoke - He smokes but is quitting soon, thank goodness - both of my parents smoked like chimneys and i moved out in the fall in part to get away from it, then ended up with someone who smokes! it's something i overlook because i love Him for Him, but i must admit i'm happy for both the lack of cigarette smoke smell and especially for His health. people who constantly have to be doing something social with others. i need my reading and computer time, kthx. obsession with politics.

turn ons: ability to cook. love of chocolate and sweets in general. love of books. conversation about things that matter and are unrelated to politics and current events. love of art. cuddliness/touchy-feely-ness.

i suppose deal-breakers would be too much hard-to-get. i'm just not interested in games. if i'm interested in you, you damn sure know it, and if you're going to make me chase you, i'm losing interest quickly. political obsession is bordering on a deal breaker. also, i don't think i could ever be with someone who doesn't like to read and doesn't read regularly.

Big turn off I cant deal with is 2 face ladies. They talk every body down like they are biggest scum bucket on the planet. Then a few days later they want you to meet this person and you want to vomit at the thought of this low life you were told about. I have to cut and go at that point it would only get worse if you hung in there. They would be talking me down behind my back next no matter how grand I treated them.

Turn ons - obedience- mmmm.

My turn offs...

Severe BO, like to the point of a couple of days old. Fresh sweat can be intoxicating.
People who drink too much alcohol to the point of obnoxious stupidity. Even without alcohol obnoxiousness and stupidity are a problem for me.
Garunteed turn off during a scene. Kissing my eyes. Like to the point of nearly sucking them out of their sockets. That and sticking a tounge in my ear. Just creeps me out and shuts me down.

I think others have mentioned a bunch of others high on my list.

I would have to say that turn-ons for me are intelligence, sense of humor, humility and patience...Turn-offs are BO, beer breath, bad hygeine, arrogance to the point of being an ass and assuming too much without asking one's opinion or feelings on certain things.

Turn ons: brains, great teeth and a bright smile, good writing skills, a wicked sense of humor, readers, good cooks, clean people, confidence, a good attitude about life in general, passion and a host of other things

Turn offs: ineptitude, poor dental hygiene, bitterness, nail biters, alcoholics/drug addicts, cheaters/liars and a host of other things

A definate turn on for me is brains/ intelligence .. [oh and goatiee beards are a definate yes]

Total turn offs are lack of personal hygiene, and people who don't clean their teeth.

Turn-ons........

1- humor.... it's hard to make me laugh, and if you're one of the rare folks that can do it, you've gone a long way towards being in my heart. It's hard to pin down the "style" of humor that gets me... a quick wit can work, but so can farting and adding your own fucked up lyrics to a song as it plays on the radio.....Mel Brooks, Monty Python, and Chris Rock all are great...

2- a sound mind....... I love intelligence... not just book-smarts, but more importantly, common sense and the ability to listen, understand, and make adjustments in your outlook and opinions when warranted.

3- a soft, liquidy voice...... ummmmmmm.

4- a love of touching, and being touched..... from head to toe.

5- openess...... of mind, body, and spirit. If you want to get close to me, be willing and able to talk about anything. Any.....thing.

6- curiousity........ it didn't kill the cat, it made the cat interesting, and interested.

Turn-offs.......

1- stupidity...... I'm not talking about ignorance, which is simply a lack of knowledge about something, which we all have. I'm talkin' stoooopid.

2- close-mindedness........

3- bad hygiene......

4- drama queens.......

5- deceit of any kind....... I hate lying, and omissions, and those whose behavior I can't trust.

What turns me on - contrasts... an example of this is my Lord is a sadistic top who enjoys causing pain and he also has the biggest heart of anyone I know. It really turns me on when these two aspects of him show at one time.
