I live in an apartment with paper thin walls, I can actually hear their cell phone vibrate sometimes! I haven't done a single thing to keep quiet when we play, they've never complained and I've never complained about their horrible taste in music that they tend to blare from time to time. I get self conscious about it once in awhile but I get over it, no way am I letting a chance of embarrassement stop me from getting off. I'm sure they've heard a lot of embarrassing things though, sigh.

we dont worry about impact sounds as they would probably ahve no clue as to what it was. i am not allowed to make a noise during play or i will be gagged and the thoguht of that is enough for me to stiffle any sounds sometimes i slip and will get an extra painful of what ever hes doing so i have learnt not to make too mcuh noise.

I got a 2 bedroom apartment specifically for the purpose of using the 2nd bedroom as a play room. I have my bondage table, whipping post, and suspension frame in there. Frankly, I don't give a damn what my neighbors think - I'm going to continue to tickle torture, force to orgasm, and beat the hell out of my play partners until someone asks me to quiet down. At which point, I'll look them in the face and say, "Well, I do have some gags. Sorry for the noise." And smile.

I have 3 apartments all near mine and they all have to walk by my front door. i tend to not care what the neighbors think. half the time it stinks like weed anyway.

the neighbors more than likely; it was like that at my old apartment, too. =p added bonus, really -- if they're stoned, they're even less likely to have any idea of what you're doing. =p

The problems you will face are two-fold: 1) noise, and 2) structures. There's really not much you can do about noise. But structurally, you have to think out of the box. The bed can be boring but you can also restrain many ways (beside the standard spread-eagle). Also, in place of a hook, or A-frame, you'd be amazed what you can use a pull-up bar for. Instead of a spanking bench, you can use a kitchen table or a chaise chair. You can also take a Papa San chair (the kind that comes in 2 pieces) and lay the dome portion down on the floor, put the padding on the outside, lay the sub/slave on top. You then have them in a dome position (great for spanking) and tons of places to tie them to. Just be creative and think of things with a dirty mind and you'd be surprised as to what you can come up with from ordinary household items.

Or do nothing. If the cops come around, just tell them you were playing kinky sex games...they'll ask her and the way she'll blush will be all the answer they'll need. They'll ask you to keep it down after hours and go on their way. After that, introduce yourself to the neighbour, and apologize for disturbing them, thank them for their concern and explain that you guys are into kinky games, so not to worry about the funny sounds coming from your apartment. That's what I'd do at any rate.
