What motivation would she have to lie in any of this?  If anything, she is attempting to broaden horizons and get people to understand where she comes from.  I don't see any point to putting her legitimacy on the line.

I dont know, what reason do any of us have to lie? Im not calling her a liar. Perhaps she remembered it wrong. Perhaps it happened just as she stated. I find it all hard to believe... and... sorry to tell ya... im entitled to that opinion.

Status: offline 		Amazingly enough, my opinion about the OP came from the mother and the child. Considering the teacher and the school have said very little, what the mom and kid have said was not abuse, not bullying, nor harrassment.

Bullying and humiliation has everything to do with this because the child complained of being humiliated and teased. Then a bunch of posters were talking like more children should be humiliated by teachers and basically saying humiliation and bullying builds character. By telling my own story, I'm trying to convince others that humiliation and bullying don't build character. They traumatize children.

Status: offline 		I'd be mad If some teacher stappled something to my kids cloths because the holes she's tearing into my kids school cloths an making them wear an tear faster, screw the "humiliation" part lol. If he's so sensitive my secret attitude would be wah wah wah big deal grow a pair n thicker skin, I wouldn't say it out loud or nothing though, I'm meanish now an then but not that mean lol.

Good grief, this mother is mad and angry and demands an apology because she claims her 2nd grader was humiliated because the teacher stapled a note to his shirt explaining to his mother he was talking in class.

Sorry but to me this bid for attention from this mother is ridiculous and i don't blame the school board for its response.  Hell, i remember when we were "humiliated" or openly "punished" in school that the other kids saw and yes sometimes laughed at you for getting in trouble.  What is this world coming too when a mother goes to the NEWS to bitch because her kid had a NOTE stapled to his shirt because she hasn't taught him that he needs to be quiet and LISTEN to the authority of the TEACHER in school rather than talking so much a note to her gets sent home.

Again, good grief.

No he didnt.

Thats what he said. The mother stated he was humiliated and teased. Now, show me they were laughing at him because of a note under his sweat shirt that they could not possibly see rather than being laughed at for acting out and being taken to the office.

Um the same motivation she has in Every thread she starts and comments on with a story about how poor me, how poor me how this happened to me...

She seems to think shes the only one who has to do anything in particular and no one else in the world has ever faced such things, Go through her posting history and read, its the same theme over...and over... and over....

You have whined and blamed your teacher for your problems, while excusing your parents behavior.. which I find deplorable... their behavior and your own. You want to continue to live in the past? Be my guest. Dont expect the rest of us to go along for the ride.

And, please, dont tell me at 35 you are just getting over the trauma of being called a liar at age 5. I am quite sure you had much more traumatic things happen to you since then. I was molested at 5 and didnt carry that with me that long.

My opposition is because Im not a life long victim... I was teased in school I got over It, Like a few million other children have in their life time...

The issue here is the kid doesnt know how to take personal responsibility.... what happens when kids grow up.. and become adults... they become like dbg... someone who cant own up to their shit...

I know when I fuck up I apologize for it I move on and thats it... If I break something I fix it, If im disruptive I stop...I happen to be an adult who can take personal responsibility for my actions....

If I was the teacher in this situation I most likely would have pinned a note to the mothers shirt to.... that commented on her inability to parent her child...

Indeed.  I really don't have time to hold petty grievances to a bunch of people I'll never meet in reality.  I will just continue to say whatever, some will not like it, some will.  I'll probably get torn apart by a mod one day.  I had a good run.

I know Im not a bully, I know Im not someone who beats up on someone else, her inability to face her own actions and know those actions have consequences will happen one day... what you or I say wont matter until one day the law steps in slaps cuffs on her hands and shes thrown in jail...

Thats the sad reality of what is going to happen to the majority of children whos parents wont teach them personal responsibility....

They wont learn until its forced upon them in such a negative way it sticks.
