Answer this, FOX NEWS viewer, do you like these Obama deficits

No, I don't.  But I'm also bright enough to know that the deficits on Obama's watch are not all his doing.   Things like putting the off-budget wars that he didn't start "on the books", for example.

Sanity -> RE: Glenn Beck versus James OKeefe (and Andrew Breitbart) (3/17/2011 9:01:29 AM)

Thanks for your honesty, and for backing me up.

As far as the Obama deficits are concerned though, a Dem Congress has been sending him Dem deficit spending bills which he signs into law ergo they are his deficits, the largest in history.

And what do we have to show for it?

You asked, I gave you the link. It wasnt CNBC who did the poll. They, like many others, merely reported the findings.

So... these links prove what exactly. That PBS can be trusted to use my tax dollars to deliver all the far left propaganda that Americans can consume?

they PROVE just what I said... that they were reported on. WHICH proved just where Brain got his figure from.

Are you always this combative that you cant understand what is being posted?

I never gave a belief, one way or the other, on the accuracy or the factual use of such a poll. Just stated it was out there. [8|]

On Jan 7th, 2009, the CBO reported that the deficit for fiscal year 2009 was projected to be $1.2 trillion.

Two days before Obama took office.

I wanna know how he can be wrong and change the topic of a thread at the same time
is it a speshul gift?

Here's a question for you...why is it that 5 mos. after election, 3 mos (being generous) since being sworn in...the republicans own the house deficits while on the OTHER hand, Obama's defenders are still allowed...2 YEARS after he was sworn in...to talk about the mess he "inherited"? If it is still Bush's mess, then isn't the mess the Republican's inherited in the house STILL the Dems?

We're not experiencing double digit deflation, 5+ million people are not out of work, the auto and financial sectors have rebounded and are not in danger of imploding, a lot of goodinfrastructure projects and infrastructure maintenance is getting done etc.

Which says what about an asinine comment about "double digit deflation" exactly?

Do you have any idea what happened between 1928 and 1933?

Just heading off the inevitable asinine comments about how bad inflation is right now.

But, wasnt the deflation rate during the depression 10%?

Sanity -> RE: Glenn Beck versus James OKeefe (and Andrew Breitbart) (3/17/2011 8:35:51 PM)

Foodstuffs and anything that has to be grown (like cotton) is going up a lot faster than the official inflation rate for several different reasons and food along with energy isnt counted towards the offical inflation numbers

tazzygirl -> RE: Glenn Beck versus James OKeefe (and Andrew Breitbart) (3/17/2011 8:38:27 PM)

You are right. Just heard today that food will cost, on average, 4% more than last month.

This is the same thing that happened when gas prices soared after Katrina... and when the gas prices fell slightly, food prices did not.

That doesnt take away from the comment about double digit deflation.

outhere69 -> RE: Glenn Beck versus James OKeefe (and Andrew Breitbart) (3/18/2011 5:57:57 PM)

Did they say whether the food prices were going up due to biofuel cultivation, increased fuel costs, etc?

mnottertail -> RE: Glenn Beck versus James OKeefe (and Andrew Breitbart) (3/18/2011 6:23:38 PM)

speculation, it aint gonna be in sticks and bricks for a while, a whore has to make cashflow somehow.

I wonder if anyone is going to answer this one?
