Way back when, I posted a link to a youtube vid, "The Most Important Video You Will Ever See". IIRC. It was about exponential growth, and how politicians have absolutely no idea what that means.

Cobb County, where I live, has about 750,000 people. It grew at nearly 2% per year from 2000 to 2005. http://www.cobbcountyga.gov/history/cobb-today.htm (we also have a AAA rating from Moody's; exceptionally well-managed).
At 2% per year the population will double in 35 years. That's about 2 generations. And that is exponential growth. Divide 72 by the # of years, and you get the growth rate.

Even a seemingly low rate of growth of 2% is not sustainable. If the whole planet had a 2% growth rate, we'd have around 14 billion people by 2047 or so. Of course, by then, agriculture will have collapsed because of that pesky little Peak Oil problem, which the rightards somehow think some Kozmic Spook will come down to Earth and solve ( I heard some Norwegian Death-Metalheads on a documentary refer to the Abrahamic religions as the "Middle Eastern Plague". I agree.). Fucking morons.

A neocon is a neoconservative who believes that the economic and political principles laid down by Francis Futuyama (beginning with the Reagan Doctrine and continuing in his publications, most notably The End Of History) are an ideal model for a conservative utopia (and, indeed, a world government). The term is a description of a political philosophy, not a diss.
Unlike "libtard" or "leftard". (Or "jewish nazi warpig" come to that...)

That isn't a cut and paste: I've read Futyama, which is more than you seem to have.
I can't speak for anybody else, but I've only ever used the term to describe the monetarist/wannabe imperialist element who adhere to the principles Futuyama sold RAND and Reagan on. Possibly other posters are using it less selectively as a synonym for "hard right", but if you had a clue what you were talking about, you'd know that wasn't a bad fit in most cases.

So, to repeat the question you've ignored: how is "libtard" not a diss, while an abbreviation of "neoconservative" is?
