Hi,
Totally new here and feel out of my depth. Had a bit of Dutch courage and looking to explore the side of me my wife doesn't know about.

Thanks for the welcome as for the wife joining me on this trip down the rabbit hole. She's far to into vanilla than she cares to admit if Its only when she's really drunk she let's go.

Hi and welcome

A friendly warning ... you will likely cop some flak here from folks who take honesty very seriously in the context of bdsm and a D/s lifestyle. They tend to come down hard on 'cheating' and some would go as far as seeing your even being here as cheating. So be aware and ready for that, and try not to let it scare you off.

Whilst I believe in honesty too, I am a bit more liberal-minded, and I see some aspects of bdsm as not particularly sexual, so I will play with a married sub as long as the play doesn't get sexual. For example, spanking ass or flogging shoulders isn't as sexual as a massage to Me! It may take you a while to find others with the same perspective though. However, you can also learn a whole lot from this site, and that in itself, will make it worth copping some flak here and there. Do be aware though, that once you let this side of yourself out ... it's very hard (if not impossible) to stuff it back in the box again, and it can make living with a vanilla shift from difficult to intolerable. So this is a dangerous path you are setting out on, make sure you want to walk this way. I don't regret one minute of My journey along it ... but not everyone feels that way.

You don't know how many couples I know who are into BDSM who started out as vanilla married couples. They both had an interest but were sooooo sure that their spouse would never ever consider it. Finally one gets the courage to mention it and bingo!!!! The other admits an interest also. So please don't try to tell me your wife has no interest if you haven't brought up the subject with her.

Welcome to CM and the boards. And ditto on what MaamJay and Peppermint said. Keeping the wife in the dark, especially if you get more involved will only lead to further troubles.
