And whilst I can agree that they are fascinating...most of them I don't tolerate in my flat and I could never move to a country where they are in such a size [:'(]

sexyred1 -> RE: Let's Talk About Spiders. (3/19/2011 9:25:51 PM)

Damn...I never thought I was afraid of little spiders until the nice people on the thread have posted ones that will haunt me.

They are almost as scary as the spider in IT.

Shivers....

Maybe your carry on bag only hosts a toothbrush, whereas his also contained clothes, etc? [;)]

Phoenix....

those camel spiders are 2 feet long!!!  How does something that huge discreetly slip into a suitcase???   I'm not kidding...I think I'd drop dead of a heart attack, right then and there.

Aylee -> RE: Let's Talk About Spiders. (3/19/2011 9:35:18 PM)

You all are TOO funny.

I shared the photos with the other half. He started whimpering about having to go climb up Butterhead to get away from them. She has a habit of scaling him if she see any creepy-crawly. Including teeny-tiny ants. It is hilarious.

Um, no. There are a lot of urban legends about them. That photo is heavily zoomed in on. Camel spiders only grow up to about four-eight inches (including leg span) and they are technically not spiders, if that makes you feel any better.
