He loves cuddling but not right after play. Because he's always drenched with sweat and I'm always frozen with several blankets on top. He'll try to cuddle for a bit but inevitably he needs a cold shower to cool down.

Pst.. my ex discovered its better I dont cook after sex. Being weak kneed and just a tad bit sleepy tends to make for a burnt snack.

The most common commands I give to Carol... BY FAR... are "hug me" and "kiss me". It is Carol that asks, "Do you want me to sit on the floor while we watch TV." and it's me who says, "Nope, I want you in my arms on the couch."

If it helps you any to answer any similar question you might have, I love Carol deeply and so the shape I command our marriage to take conforms to exactly what you'd expect for a guy that's been dopey in love for 15 years and getting moreso year by year.

After learning the hard way, I make clear ahead of time that cuddling is an essential part of afterplay for me.

While I appreciate intimacy in its various forms, I usually desire to cuddle under specific situations. The gesture is most welcome when I'm in poor health, afraid or wrestling with a difficult subject, or after an admonishment. Having his arms around me is mentally restorative and provides a demonstration of much needed security.

D is a self-professed 'cuddle slut'...as am I, so it works out quite well.

When we're together, the only time we're not in some sort of physical contact is when one of us is cooking, or I'm cleaning. And even then, he has a tendancy to come up behind me and hug/kiss/pet/whatever else tickles his fancy, regardless of what I'm doing.

I suppose that might change if we had more time together...but somehow, I doubt it. We're both very tactile people, and we crave that contact.

I'm a snuggle slut, and also prone to sickeningly cute displays of affection when I'm not being violent and unpredictable.

This is definitely not about your role, this is just a preference thing in general I think. Some people are simply more affectionate than others.

My deal is.. She makes me coffee and I'll spoil her under a shower (lotsa washing with heaps of soft suds on my hands) I go and cook supper so we eat where ever I choose.

He's always putting his arms around me, and yes, even after sex.  During those times when I'm struggling with something, I tend to prefer NOT to cuddle, but he won't allow that.  It's especially those times, I'm ordered to wrap my arms tightly around him.
