Wow, I have never seen this although I have looked at a lot of profiles. If a Dom had that in a profile it would be an instant  crack up on my part and then I'd be thoroughly uninterested even if I previously was. That's actually pretty lame, it says that person would be more into how things appear then how they truly are. The empty gesture....meh.

If you're interested why not just send a message saying "Hi, I'm interested"?    Or is that breaking some "domly" rule?   Seems kinda silly.

It's amusing in a creepy way.

Been there, done that, been there again and done that again...just now. But girl, your college pics shows us legs that go...all of the way up to your ass. Now...just what do you expect ?

Precious poise it probably means the person isn't logged in. That way they can sneak a peek without your knowledge. Completely stealth like.

A> Excellent photography and you want to see if they have posted any new shots.

B> An entertaining journal and you want to see if they have written anything new and amusing.

C> Their profile comes up often with your interest search and you click on their profile due to the glitch in CM when accessing from a phone... you have to "view full profile" on someone to get the "read mail" button to materialize.

Status: offline 		I could go with MercTech´s 3 reason but i do have a fourth as well. I enjoy reading the forums and when someone post something which is interesting in any manner (positive or negative) I do like seeing who they are. Multible perving in that sense is probably more because I don't remember the profile from last time. That really translate to that I didn´t find the profile so interesting that i remember the person.

Status: offline 		I check a profile a couple of times on occasion, if I see interesting words or pictures (mostly words); but when I do, I usually send a note complimenting whatever I noticed. Sometimes, I check a profile to match it to the boards poster.

Several people do look at my profile repeatedly, but they usually add selves to my admirer list, or send a note saying hello. On the occasions it has happened, and I haven't gotten a note, it is usually because they have read my profile, and found a glaring incompatibility. I respect both behaviors. The reason is, I think it's fine to look, as many times as your hear desires; but if you know you cannot come meet, or for whatever reason, you aren't a good fit for me, it's good to save us both the awkwardness of trying to fool each other, or ourselves into thinking things will go beyond a few emails. M

I've encountered the opposite problem... They assure me they have read my profile, and even tell me info within the profile, but they don't show on my "viewed you" list. M

Status: offline 		Nobody ever pervs me. *sigh* Woe is me. It's funny - it's always been like that for me. Rarely perved, rarely c-mailed, rarely propositioned. I'm always surprised by all the threads about that. (I don't take it personally). I tell myself it's because I'm unattainable and people just know it. *primps for the camera*

Now for the serious answer:
I rarely look at people's profiles. I mean, why taunt myself with what I can't have? I will look at the profiles of people who post but even then not often - I don't want to give the wrong impression. (Whatever that means). I'm more an auditory person I guess. What people say on the boards tells me a lot more than their profiles, I think, because it's interactive. Movie versus still photograph - both are lovely and wonderful, but one resonates for me more.

Status: offline 		I look at profiles for a variety of reasons. Many are not very flattering to the creator of the profile. Especially if they've posted on the forums.

I don't care, or particularly notice who or what is viewing my profile. It just doesn't register much on my radar.

I laugh when people write about getting upset over it. Prin.......topping?......really!?!?

I look at it this way.......a person puts their shit out there, they are consenting to people doing whatever the hell they want with it.

If someone wants my attention, they are going to have to actually make an effort and COMMUNICATE....not just look at my profile.
