Close. I'm more talking about the "Original Night Stalker." Goes by the name, "East Area Rapist" as well.

No offence, but the original Night Stalker was a TV series in the 70's.

If you had read my first post thoroughly you would see in the first line I wasn't talking about some silly vampire show.

Arpig -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/20/2011 10:04:44 PM)

Mine is ridiculously simple and has no cute story behind it. My initials are R. P. G., which if pronounced as a word comes out as arpig. The pig part appealed to me because I really don' t take myself too seriously.

windchymes -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/20/2011 10:08:24 PM)

I tinkle when the wind blows.

Actually, when I signed up for the site, I wanted a new name that was unique for this site, and as I sat, stumped, I heard them tinkling outside, and voila. I added the 'y' just for artistic merit.

gungadin09 -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/20/2011 10:10:20 PM)

Gunga Din is a poem by Rudyard Kipling, about an slave who faithfully ran water to the British soldiers in India. Various people have called me by that name, even before i knew what it meant. A chef i worked for called me that because i brought water to the guys on the hot line during service. My dad also calls me that, and quotes the most famous line of the poem...

"Though i've belted you and flayed you
by the living God that made you
You're a better man than i am, Gunga din!"

i liked the name and the poem, and it seemed to fit me, so i took it.

Yes. The one that still gives me the willies is the headless motorcycle one. Late at night, if i hear one gunning its engine, i still tend to freak a bit.

omg, that one is the only one that stuck with me.. *shudders*

Hippiekinkster -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/20/2011 11:20:32 PM)

Mine's pretty obvious. However, I'm just not that kinky anymore. A heavy duty "dark night of the soul" back around the end of 2007 or so changed me. I use the word "healed". Had some intense "epiphanies" about some early childhood trauma. I still go off the deep end now and then when pain gets to me, or I get frustrated due to immobility and having had to put my life on hold. Most times I back away from the keyboard, but once in a while my inner asshole comes to the fore. And although I have a beer once in a while, I've acquired an aversion to inebriation. Alcohol just doesn't feel very good. And I won't even have a beer if I'm out playing at an open mic. Sometimes my drumming is the only thing that holds anything together on stage.

My nic on B.com is "Schlüßelberg" which is my paternal grandmother's maiden name. It's an old Prussian name, goes back to around 1330 or so.

I am! [:D]

Mine is pretty self-explanatory too. When I joined cm 5 or so years ago I decided to abandon the name I'd had on bondage dot com, which was Missy (a childhood nickname).

At that time I was trying to reconcile my kinky self with my 'real' self...so I referred to the two parts of my life separately. Now that I'm happily reconciled to both parts living intertwined in harmony I should really change my name, I guess!

SexyBossyBBW -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 2:17:49 AM)

Mine is usually descriptive, hence the SexyBossyBBW, with the sexy/feeling part, being challenged by in recent/continuing times, by back problems. M

sunshinemiss -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 4:40:36 AM)

It was raining that day, and I missed the sun.

What? You're not buying it?

GreedyTop -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 4:45:31 AM)

not I, Sunnylicious!

(nice try though... )

Aileen1968 -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 5:33:11 AM)

Aileen is what I was supposed to be named when I was born, but mom and dad changed it at the last minute to name me after my dad instead...youngest of four daughters, no sons.
Shorebound is Shorebound because we spend as much time at the beach as possible and he likes to tie me up down there. It's an appropriate play on words for us. It started out originally as a couples profile, but he is the main poster.

peachgirl -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 8:47:10 AM)

my old nick here was lighthearted. I had chosen that one myself when I was with master #1. the Man has always called me "peach" or "my peach"...that one was already taken, hence the girl part. because I am a girl too. [:D]

I did read it thoroughly.

I stated I knew who you were referring too.

I also asked you not ruin the original Night Stalker with some twisted psychopath who didnt even call himself that. Its a media hype name given to him.

poise -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 9:07:32 AM)

Poise, because sultrysereneslutofyourdreams was much too long.
As was unit of velocity of a fluid. [:-]

Poise = balance; stability. the condition of being calm or serene.
ease and dignity of manner; self-assurance; composure
prepare (oneself) for something unpleasant or difficult
great coolness and composure under strain.

Yep, that's me in a nutshell. Except that one time.
And then that time after that. [;)]

What? You thought I would name myself after a bladder leakage product? [:'(]

NuevaVida -> RE: Lets Talk About Screen Names. (3/21/2011 10:58:45 AM)

After realizing the decisions I had been making for myself were not working for me, I reviewed my life and set out a course to start fresh.  NuevaVida = New Life.
