Gunga Din is a poem by Rudyard Kipling, about an slave who faithfully ran water to the British soldiers in India. Various people have called me by that name, even before i knew what it meant. A chef i worked for called me that because i brought water to the guys on the hot line during service. My dad also calls me that, and quotes the most famous line of the poem... "Though i've belted you and flayed you by the living God that made you You're a better man than i am, Gunga din!" i liked the name and the poem, and it seemed to fit me, so i took it. pam
