I have had several names on here. Chose this one because I got tired of trying to make up a new one. Everyone on here knows what it means.

I've been here under three different screen names, over a period of about four years - until I redefined my priorities and decided what I did and did not want, and stopped feeling like I had to leave the site in utter frustration. I prefer the one I have now, even though it kinda sorta not really makes me sound like a musician.. ( "Sorceress J" totally sounds like "Tenacious D". Not.) [8D]

I have used "Topaz" in my scene name for over 15 years. My birthday is in November, and that is the birthstone for November, which is why I originally chose it. "Mystic Fire Topaz" happens to be my favorite type of topaz. It is pretty, shimmery, and throws off several different colors. One of my hobbies is collecting jewelry sets of the various types of Mystic Topaz. I have sets in the original Mystic Fire Topaz, Mystic Twilight Topaz, Pure Pink Mystic Topaz, Mercury Mist Topaz, Neptune Garden Topaz, Crimson Mystic Topaz, Aqua Mystic Topaz, etc. You might say it's an obsession :)

Mine was My scene name before I ever got on the screen. The Lady part is rather obvious. I'm female and I'm a protocol person. The Pact part is what folks in the community adopted about Me. I've always been a 'word is My bond' kind of person. If we've made an agreement, barring extreme circumstances, you'll see Me live up to My end. The times that I can't, it drives Me nuts to no end. It became even more fitting when the other half and I started moving into poly. Ergo, Lady Pact.
