By now (except those living in Kentucky...kidding) you have all heard about the term, "manscaping."  I enjoy manscaping, and I am glad it is commonly accepted and even seen as desirable.  Body hair is something that disgusts me, and I have gone from shaving to waxing at the first signs of growth.

Now I know there's some historians out there that see body hair as a sign of masculinity or "rugged" however let me tell you that nothing beats the feeling of having such a smooth surface.  Your partner will love it too.  In fact, I think it is only fair that a man keep up his end of the bargain if a woman has to rid of her body hair!  Not only that, but it shows off your physique, and when you apply some baby oil to give it that shine....oooh, you'll be looking absolutely...dashing.

The road to being a well-groomed man is not cheap.  With exfoliating creams, and the like, you may find it a little expensive but in the end you will feel like you're driving a Corvette.  That Corvette is your body.  Let's face it...with manscaping you will make your woman feel even more appreciated.  Dominant or not, you will make her melt...not literally however, or that would be murder.

When you're a sex icon in your community, you will walk down the street with that extra bounce in your step.  You will take your shirt off at the beach.  You will point to that cute valley-girl and wink at her.  You will be one step closer...to excellence.

Thank you for your time.

We did that once...a girl shaved off all my body hair. It took her a couple hours and I ended up looking like a beluga, so no thanks...no manscaping for me. Hell the main reason I first grew a beard was because I was fed up shaving twice a day, I can't imagine doing all of me on a regular basis...I don't have that sort of time in my day.

And this is why I like women who aren't into fashion. We both have better things to do with our time . Different strokes &c.

I keep myself trimmed with scissors.
There's nothing worse than going down on a woman and getting a mouth full of hair so I return the favor and keep it neat.

If a male takes off every bit of body hair he is
going to look like:  a. a competitive swimmer
                          b. a competitive body builder
                          c. gay

I realize that those are not mutually exclusive.

Since your profile says you are 6 feet tall and only weigh 150 pounds,
If you are not bisexual, I hope you can swim.

That said; there was some advice from This Best Of Craigslist Article
that I thought was well written and to the point.

"-Trim your pubic hair! We don't want to see kinky curls surrounding your jizz syringe, golden straw poking out three inches from your body, or a pubic bush that resembles Phil Spector's court room white boy fro. Thick bushes likely harbor an acrid smell and/or prime real estate for crabs.

You expect us to clean our shit up, so heed your own advice! We do a lot more than you ever will. You can handle swiping a BIC across your shit, once in a while or a few passes with a handheld electric shaver.

Pubic hair shouldn't sprawl all over your inner and upper thighs, like climbing Ivy vines.
If you want any kind of attention paid to your balls, shave them, or at the very least, trim the hair. It is sooo NOT HOT when rogue ball hair tickles the inside of your sex partner's nostrils, when they've so graciously decided to give your balls that rare, royal treatment.

We don't expect you to shave off all of your pubic hair (some of us prefer that you don't), we just think that you need to mow the lawn when you can't find the garden hose in the grass anymore."  emphasis added

Hair doesn't bother me. If there is too much of it, a trim is in order, but other than that I don't care one way or the other.

Meh...to each their own said the lady as she kissed the cow! Body hair can be fun.

Why do images of "Jersey Shore" come to mind when I read the above? Body hair is primal...on both men and woman...and sexy. In my opinion, of course.

A manscaped man, especially one who has more lotions and potions than me, makes me feel he needs something else to occupy his time and mind besides...himself.

Ahhh, valley girl....are we talking "Jersey Shore" again?

Jokes aside...grooming is cool; clean hands/nails, a nice haircut, showering...owning a toothbrush and knowing how to use it , yeah all important. But, when a guy has to make a stop at Sephora to load up on his "supplies" and spends an hour in the shower shaving every little crevice until he looks like a naked mole rat...that's when I question his body image preoccupation.

Oh come now, wanting to look your most fabulous has nothing to do with your sexual orientation.  I go to such lengths since I want to show I put in the effort to look good for the woman.  If my body is to be a bed, she should sleep on silk sheets.

Once you go smooth, you'll never lose.

I think what you are not understanding is that your idea of fabulous is not everyone else's idea of fabulous.

Most men don't even try it!  A lot of you probably have partners to blatantly steal the "essentials" from anyways!  Curiosity didn't kill the cat here...curiosity made some kittens!

I believe all of the kittens around here were made without Nivea and Bic.

I've had both. I prefer a smooth chest but only if it's naturally  that way.  Moderate body hair is okay, no back hair.

I think men that shave their cock and balls bare are way too fucking pre pubescent looking for me. I seriously am way turned off by bare man parts. It's creepy.

What is REALLY funny.....the only reason I read this thread, cuz I really don't care about man bits, is my pre-espresso brain read it as 'Landscaping' and I thought "what the hell does NS know about landscaping???"

Then the 'naked mole rat' comment sucked me in....
